I am a little suprised of all the looks and thumbs up I receive! Yesterday a guy in a black Jeep 5.7 almost caused a wreck he was looking so hard! Cars were beeping at him b/c he slowed down so much. :D I love it!

Last night I took the Jeep to a Mopar Night at the biggest weekly car show in the U.S., and even on "Mopar Row" a lot of them didn't know Jeep had an SRT model. Spectators were taking pictures and videos of mine, it was very popular.

My first sighting of the SuperJeep was at the main entrance of the '06 Barrett-Jackson Auction. Since I live less than 3 miles from the venue, I will drive my own to the '07 Show.:D

A friend of mine came over last night and then he asked what car I am driving now. He is all into wranglers and off roading, still a jeep. He had no idea what a srt model was. He works for a car customizing place and wants me to bring it in to have my work done on it... too bad its not going to be for free!

I have also noticed the lack of knowledge concerning our vehicle, but people are educated after the light turns green:D

Makes sense that most people don't know what the SRT8 GC is, advertising overall has been fairly limited on the vehicle.

A magazine ad showing the Inferno SRT8 for a short while and the commercial with the Black SRT/Birds.

That's all I've ever seen.

Actually, when you think about it, the SRT8 GC has received a lot of advertising compared to its SRT8 counterparts (Charger, 300C, and Magnum). When is the last time you saw a 300C SRT8 commercial? Moreover, in the past six months, the SRT8 GC had 20 articles in various magazines. Did the other SRT8’s receive this much attention when they launched? Granted, the SRT8 GC is a rapid SUV (which is rare) and that is probably the reason for the increased interest.

All of the aforementioned vehicles are niche, so it is understandable why people cannot discern the exclusiveness of our ride. Aficionados easily recognize the SRT8’s, and that is all that matters, because they are the most likely to appreciate the vehicle.

actually, the 300 SRT8 is being used to market the whole 300 line. Remember that commercial with the 300 that parks in the parking garage and the fire sprinkler goes off?? that was an SRT8.

^^^ Read carefully, I am referring to an individual marketing campaign for a SRT8 vehicle, not an SRT8 used in a commercial. Premium models are always used in commercials, that is not the point.

^^^ Roger that! Thanks for replying :)

If I recall correctly, the SRT6 Crossfire was highly promoted, as well as the SRT4 Neon. But for SRT8's, the GC has received the most publicity, and rightfully so;).

the only SRTs ive never seen on the road are the Crossfire (does it have an srt badge? i can only tell by the rims) and the Jeep (other than mine and one that i thought may have been one but couldnt tell from afar)

I was at my local Chevy dealer looking for a beater winter car. when the salesman came out he asked if that was the new 400hp Jeep, he could'nt stop saying how good it looked. Made me happy about my purchase!!

So far I've had 3 people roll down their window at stop lights and ask what kind of engine and HP it had. I've also had people slow down purposely in traffic to let me pass so they could check out the truck. I feel special! :)
