Is anybody going to this thing, i watched the slide show and didn't see a single SRT8.

Assuming mine isn't awaiting a new transmission I'd be interested in going.

Lets see if we can gather a list of people who are interested in going. I for one will go as long as there will be some other SRT8's there.

Allright guys here is the lowdown.. As of yet we have not had a single SRT8 register for the show, but we have had two last year in the lot, they got almost as much attention as all the jeeps combined running the RTI ramp..
So lets start a new thing here at the Jeep Fest, with the grands, I have two from the local area interested, and I am hoping one of our sponsoring dealers will bring one along with a new SRT in something else!!
I am a Grand Cherokee guy myself and after having a few lifted I went over to the dealer to look at the SRT8 and realised three things, one is that I just couldn't swing it financially this year, two is that I can't leave well enough alone and I would start the mods right away, destroying the warranty, and the third is.. not sure if you have gotten wind of it, but there is a possibility of the SRT8 getting the 6.4 Hemi in a year or so, I kind of doubt it but that is about the time I will be in a position to afford it, so I actually have a fund for my next client hauler.. an '09 SRT8 My ultimate Jeep...

Here is what I can and will do, if I get a few pre-registrations in time, I will arrange for an area specifically for the SRT's to be grouped together, instead of mixed in or near lesser Jeeps...

In addition if you have any special requests, let me know what you might like, I am sure I can accomodate, as this show gets larger and larger, we will be splitting off even more classes and distinctions... Let me know what you would like, please ask for anything you would like and I will go to bat for ya!

I'm probably in. I showed my dad and he's gonna try to get his jeep club from up here in central FL to go so If they go I'll probably tag along

I spoke to the man in charge tonight and I think he got my point of putting the SRT's next to each other, in order to do this as the time gets closer I am gonna need a close to accurate count to reserve the amount of space needed, I don't want to put you guys in the back in order to save ten spots or so, but if we know it will be like 6 or 7 I will hold 8 with some ropes, give you some elbow room too...I will clear this one for you for sure, but space will be at a premium.. Maybe I'll put you a little out of the way to the side, two reasons, one make sure the grands are kept away from the dirt lovers, and draw some people to that area too, mayb in the middle of some vendors... so stoked to get some grand style out there..
Honestly without a good count and people arriving near the same time, it won't be easy, but a good count we will make it work, as we get closer we'll lock it in...

Kidding, other than putting on the miles, I think you have my favorite ever road burner to drive long distances... Allright all, the vendor list is still growing the raffle prizes are getting better and better, and not that you all want to go but we now have a mini monster course, cars lined up door to door fresh for all us lifted maniacs to drive on!!!
You can leave those beautiful SRT8's for the crowd to drool over, in a specific area with a barracade I will figure out soon, and come watch why we need to win the tires and 4 wheeling products.., and the http://www.griotsgarage.com/resources/clear_dot.gif raffle prizes should go to you guys.. sorry for the gratuitous linking there but I personally love there stuff and they have donated some paint sealant kits and undercoating spray, which makes cleaning wheel wells a thing of the past..

So let me know how many of you are planning on coming, so I can get the spot set aside first of all, and also depending on if you are staying over, two things, one I am sure a large group of us will be going out Saturday night..

And if you feel like a wild change, there is a large trail ride on Sunday, I am sure I could arrange a seat for anyone wanting to see some dirt, and a safe place to park your ride too..

There is a huge vendor list and a great raffle pool of prizes, the food is going to be awesome and we are going to have an amazing kids zone, there will be a massive bounce house, face painters, and Every child walks away a winner at our show, Every kiddy raffle is a winning number here.. So bring the family and the friends I will make sure a great time is here for all...

I am going to try to make my way down there depending if I can get back in town in time. What are the chances that I can register when I get there and that a spot will be there with the other SRT8's?

The only way I will be able to make SURE all the GC SRT8's will be together are if I get pre registration for them, when you do the online registration make sure you fill out the form as well as PayPaling...
That way we know who you are..

The only thing it does is let me know how many spots to hold,
you can register anytime at the gate, well up till 2 ocklock or so, but that would be no fun..



I have a little bit of a PITA with the boss about holding spots, but I am a nut about car care myself and want the SRT's seperate anyhow, it would look foolish mized in with the mudders,, I will make sure we have all the pre registered taken care of, and I will hold minimum of 2 additional spots so if say 4 pre register I will hold 6 total, not sure how long I can, but I will.

I was planning on going but it looks like I will be out of town now. We need to set up another get together for as many GCSRT8's we can. The SRT10 truck guys are having a get together at old town in Kissimmee, we should do something like that. The local SRT LX guys meet there every Friday it is pretty cool.

Damn Winston.... that's cold. Well, every girl does need a fat friend. It does make them feel better about themselves when they go out at night. Lol..

Dude we have plenty of entertainment for the friend.. So the more the merrier.. On a good note, I have two online registrations for the SRT croud, I also know of atleast one local guy, I will be working on the layout all this week and I am finding a nice spot for a few more SRT's, I will keep you all away from the rocks, the dirt and the other busted Jeeps. Some of them have almost the same $$ investment, but have more scratches than dance floor..
You will be on gravel and there will be hundreds of people drooling over your Jeeps, and I might not have time to print them up but a sign that says something like, "Look with your eye not your hands please" might not be a bad idea. Sad but not everyone knows to leave other peoples stuff alone.. I can't post a guard but I will try to get you in a nice place..
I will also trade, one cray ass ride in a friends Jeep going over the rocks or car crush, for one ride in an SRT? I have been in a highly modded SRT8 300 but that realy just didn't do it for me..I doubt I will have the time, but I will see about getting people into rock rides, so look for the yellow STAFF shirts, I wlil be running the RTI ramp and everyone knows me, Matt or Nonstop will get you to me..

Thanks guys and I can't wait to show you some of the other aspects of Jeeping.. This is a show about Jeeps but shows mostly our side of the fence, I am trying to open it up to your side too, thank you for bringing some class to the mud..

Also in case some of you like bass fishing or boats in general, the BassTracker Boat show is running side by side with ours and there are some great toys to look at that day!
