Hey all,
I am coming up on my first oil change. I plan on taking it to dealing to have that done as well as recall issue and power window craziness.
My question is after reading these forums, it seems Mobil 1 is the oil of choice for these beasts.
Does anyone know what the manuf. puts in these out the door and what the dealer will use for oil changes? Is synthetic the only thing that should be used in these?

factory recommends M1 0-40....but i know alot of people also run a 5-40 such as amsoil. you would have to be crazy not to use synthetic in these monsters.

Look on your oil cap under the hood. Also if you want to save some money buy the oil and filter, give to dealer and have them install, paying for the labor only but getting a receipt proving oil change occurred for warranty purposes. But Mobil-1 is what comes in the Jeep

The SRT engineers also have said if you are gonna drive this beast harddd, you can use 15W40 instead.
