Will the standard gr. cherokee mudflaps work on the SRT?

But a baseball card in the spokes while you are at it.

I doubt it... mainly because of the SRT lower body panels.
IMO - mud flaps will NOT look good on a SRT8.

I'm not a big fan either, but they really save the lower paint. I was also going to have them painted to match when I have the fron license plate holes filled in and repainted.

Seriously, some small, molded guards that were painted might look decent.

Let us know what you decide...

I'm closely watching the paint behind the wheels. If it starts to get chipped I will have clear film put on those spots, instead of mud flaps.

Just put 3M clear film on the high risk areas. That will be much less noticable than mud flaps. :)

I'd recommend Llumar or Venture over 3M. Both are more optically clear and yellow slower.

I put the stock grand cherokee mud guards on my SRT as we have a lot of rocks and tar on the roads out here in Phoenix. Can't say I think they look nice but they do keep a lot of the crap off the side of the Jeep so until I can find something better I'll leave them on. I have the plastic stuff on all the leading edges and love it so maybe I'll let them see what they can do to the bottom of the sides.

I don't have the flaps either but plenty of chip because I tried the standard cherokee. Because they did not bolt right up I did not put them on wish I had.
