Here's what I'd like to do. I need to know how many members out there are from the southwest Texas area. I want to set up a sunday cruise somewhere between the Waco area and just south of San Antonio. I figure it would be fun to have some of us meet up at a bar and grill in that general area. And maybe cruise I-35 for like 30 miles or something. It's still an idea that I'm going over but I want to see who is in my area with an SRT8 Jeep and how many of you would be down for something like that. And if you have some ideas as well then let me know.

good luck with that. I have put almost 7k miles on my 08 and have only seen 2 other srt8's and that was just once each. I drive all over houston, and I am currently in OKC and did not see one srt8 jeep on this trip.

There are quite a few SRT'ers here in San Antonio. A few chargers, 300c, Viper P/U, etc...

I live about an hour north of Waco, near Stepheville. If the timing was right, I would be interested in coming down for a cruise. I own some property on Canyon Lake near new braunfels, there are alot of good roads around there.

I would love to do that in fact I just posted a similar thread. It might be fun to drive to Marion just out side San Antonio and run some 1/4 miles together. count me in I also own lake property in marble falls and know of many great roads thru the hill country.

Foley, that sounds cool. I live in New Braunfels. It's just an idea right now and I need to see who all is interested. I haven't figured out exactly where yet but I made the San Antonio-Waco spread to give others a shot to join. I'm from San Antonio. You ever go out to Biff's on Friday's? Anyway if we can figure this out, it would be fun to do like once a month or something. And Hunter I even like your idea of going out to Marion to run the Jeeps. Ya'll let me know.

That sounds cool Central TX Hemi. So now there are about five of us. We'll just have to figure out all of the specifics now. We need to decide on a good road for the cruise. And then of course we can figure out where we want to eat. I'm thinkin we can do this maybe the first weekend of December or something. See how it turns out. This will give us all some time to fit it into our schedules. Any of you PM me with ideas you might have for the cruise. This will be fun.

just a thought if we meet in Marble Falls we could run through the hill country out to Fredrickburg and back to San Antonio buy 6:oopm Eat at at Biffs and then go to the Track for some 1/4 mile runs.

Knowing our luck we will hit a Deer or Turkery going thru Marble Falls, but its a nice ride my parents take their S2000 that way to Austin from Waco just for the scenery

I believe thats just about the same route Car and Driver took the x5, jeep, cayenne etc.. on their road test
