My initail concern with this car, was damaging the front end. The entire bumber, grill, everything all around it has paint on it. So I was paranoid about rocks, etc. chipping it. Does anyone make a clear coat front end protection to put on? also, how do you guy deal with it? or is it not to much of an issue.

just drive it.....when it gets some damage, just have it repainted...a few rock chips looks better than that clear bra stuff

Best way to avoiding bottom facia scrapes are to take high grade entrance ramps on a 45 degree angle whenever possible. The 3m clear bra works well but it is an ordeal if it has to come off. It just doesn't pull off that easy.

The 3M film yellows. I know 3M claims it doesn't but it does and quickly. It also starts out more yellow the lesser used/known brands. I've had 3M, Venture and Llumar on three different cars. The Llumar is the way to go, it's the most optically clear and the one that is least noticable on dark colors and just about invisible on lighter colors. My current car has Llumar film (both silver) and now my dad has it on both of his silver cars, and many friends with black and white have it. It will come off if you ever need to replace itl/remove it, but so far I haven't had any discoloration or damage like I had on my 3M kit. The Venture film is also excellent and didn't change color or get damaged in the 2 years I had the car it was on...it's just not quite as clear as the Llumar. If I ever find a silver GCSRT8 it will get Llumar film before I drive it.

I've had the clear film on my SRT-10 truck for almost two yeas now and it still looks transparent. Put it on my SRT-8 shortly after it's purchase. Looks and works great on both units.

I'm running clear bra on mine. No complaints.
