I am on the fence with this one. I may try it since it is only $80 and pops in over the stock...

I borrowed a members ride, I hope you don't mind!

I like it!

On a different subject, what do you guys think about altogether removing the factory plastic/chrome inserts in an attempt to make the truck mono-color, reminiscent of the Dodge "Sport" trucks. Does anyone foresee any problems with rust, holes (if there are any), etc...

I have always been an advocate of mono-color, but the inserts on this vehicle are tastefully done. I am undecided.

Opinions?...

EDIT: Sorry for getting off-topic, WD

Black, that is where I am at. Either add the grill to match the other polished features, or black it all out. I would NOT add anymore chrome than the grill, though...

After that, some 3 piece non chrome 22" wheels would work. Black centers with chrome lip if blacked out, or silver/gun metal centers with chrome lip if left with chrome accents. My $.02.

^^^ Me too. As far as removal, I am a little concerned about making the vehicle look cheap, but I guess there is no way to tell until I do it.

My Photochop skills are dismal. WD, could you please manipulate a black mono-color SRT8 GC?

OK-- it isn't black, but this is what I did..... I had all the chrome trim (window belt moldings, and door molding) color matched to the vehicle. The front chin spoiler, I had done in black.
I'm definitely a big fan of monochromatic stuff.

It's really personal opinion, but I think the chrome grill looks cheezy (fo sheezy), but if you like it, go for it. :D

Here is a front shot all black...with the other two for reference.

I have to say I think I like the all black much better than all chrome. Kind of reminds me of Darth Vader.

My tails were done at my local paint shop. The painter has done work on my last several rigs. I really like how the tails turned out, but I wish I would have masked off the reverse light like I'd done in the past.

Does not belong on the SRT, looks very cheesy, that is my 2 cents. The front of the car is perfection, to mess with it is assanine.

Actually, I think that was his only decent idea. The Range Rover Stormer concept had it and it was pretty cool
