Hey guys... have had my jeep for about 2 months now. Had a rain storm today and when I got in at lunch water was pouring out of the upper tab in the A pilliar above the grab handle and a big wet spot on the floor. Anyone else hear of this? Called the dealer and they said that they heard that some needed to have the windshield resealed but I dont know.

Check WKJeeps.com for the TSB on the windshield growl. Mine whistles on hot days (85+ which is almost everyday in south Florida) when speed hits 80 mph.

I had a problem in the same spot. But mine was the rear windshield washer fluid that was coming out of the pillar. There was a loose connection on mine. Was yours water or did you use the washer fluid at all while driving? Also, I took mine to have that fixed and the windshield growl. They just had it re-sealed for me.

I have the same issue, the water comes in through the passenger handle. specifically it comes in through the removable tab. Only on a hard rain and when the vehicle is parked in the hard rain.

Experienced the same with mine ( but as the steering wheel is on the other side of the truck, its coming throughthe drivers side !!)

Only after really torrential rain, it drips a little from the bottom "blank" of the screen pillar.

A job for its first dealer service !!

Most cmmon leaks with the WK are from the sunroof drains. They have been known to pinch the front drain tubes under the sunvisors at the factory, and had a problem with the rear drains on the earlier 06s. Rear drain tube problems usually only show up when you park on a steep incline. Very hard to tell where it is coming in from where it comes out, with the one piece headliner it can come in at one spot and slosh around up there until it comes out somewhere else alltogether. The windshield is possible, I have seen a few, but most of the ones Ive had to fix were either the sunroof or the sealer on the bolts for the roof rack rails. A quick check for the drain tubes is to open your sunroof, pour a bottle of water slowly into the drain channel and you should see water draining freely from the fronts. The rears will only drain with the front wheels jacked up off the ground or on a steep incline due to the rake of the roofline. Dont pour too fast or you can overflow, put a slow steady pour should drain freely. Sometimes you have to drive around in circles afterwards before water trapped in the headliner will pour out.
