Hello, not sure if anyone has heard of the strange problem Im having with my Jeep Grd Cher Ltd 4.0; It's been 105 degree's and my AC is not working.
The STRANGE part is that I hear the fan blowing, and I can definately feel a trickle of very cold air (at least from the driver side) but its as if the "shutter" door or whatever mechanism it is that allows the air to blow inside the car is stuck or broken. So, I turn on the AC and the blower starts, but no air comes out, that is, most of the time. Sometimes, I may be driving and all of a sudden whatever is stoping the air seems to give way, and then it works fine. But this is the exception. I haven't been able to get the AC working for the last week. I've tried turning to different settings, off/on, floor/upper, etc.., to no avail. Added Air Coolant, so that's not the issue.
Anyone deal with this issue before? Or have an idea what it might be?
