Before you run out and order a Red Rock 07 SRT8.

Make sure you see it in person first.

I just saw it on a few Laredo's at the dealer.

Very deceiving in photos.

In person it looks like a funky copper color up close.

From far away it looks like a dark red.

I would go as far to say that its ugly.....my buddy did not like it at all either.

Came back from a test drive in an Inferno SRT8 and parked it right next to the Red Rock vehicles.

Inferno is much nicer, imho.

Looks like I'll be going with color choice #2, SB. Its either that or Silver, but I just want something a bit different.

Funny you should mention this... I was just talking to my dealer about the new Red Rock paint job for 07s, he hadn't heard about this and he was not impressed! He said it's an ugly brown colour and wouldn't recommend it on a regular/any Jeep, and he almost looked saddened to hear this was going on any SRT8 product. Buyer beware! :eek:

I guess if you like this colour, I'm sorry, I haven't seen it, yet, don't shoot the messenger! :p

I did cheer him up with the news that I haven't had any speeding tickets with my truck, yet. :D

Yup, so did I.....Commander Ltd, chrome wheels. All cleaned up like it was ready to go in the showroom or be delivered (was outside).

Has to be seen in person to be appreciated, its not a wild color but very nice.....chrome trim offers enough contrast against the color to be set off well.

Overall though, I just don't understand the mindset with Jeep to offer only 4 colors on the SRT8.

None of which at this point are really that exciting. Why not offer a few additional exclusive colors to the SRT8 from a marketing standpoint?

My goodness, why not add a nice white at least?

A Mettalic Pearl white would be cool.
