I am very torn right now as to is I should buy a new 08, or a slightly used 07.
What did you guys pay for your SRT?

No Lifetime Powertrain on SRT models
Check with Don - Champion Jeep first before you pull the trigger, He sells country wide
08 Has a much nicer interior
I think out the door with Sales Tax/Fees was $44600.00 (I had to pay an extra $250 Tags in Florida) Steel Blue everything exept Option 2 and Block Heater
Toothmonger 10-25-2007, 06:38 AM I was at 41,500.00 out the door, taxes included for 07. I don't have the rear dvd, but loaded otherwise. Also free delivery since I bought over the phone.
Those powertrain warrantys are dealer specific. My brother bought an 07 charger srt in Virginia and he has the warranty. Mine in NC wouldn't do it.
jim383 10-25-2007, 06:40 AM I paid invoice for a 07 srt-8 jeep which was 43422 and that was with a window of 46665. They wanted window 4 the 08. Don at chamption said 500 over invoice and 500 more to ship to ca on an 08.

Thats a dealer warranty, But the national Dodge,Chrysler & Jeep Lifetime Powertrain Warranty in the commercial excludes SRT models

Ya, it's just his local dealer made the deal with him. It covers the same as the one they are campaigning right now. So there is some wiggle room with some dealers when you are haggling.
ram_g 10-25-2007, 07:00 AM I paid invoice + $800 (~$2,500 under sticker) locally in Houston for a brand new '08 with 6 miles on the odo. Did not check with Don, but from jim383's post above it might have come to almost the same thing.

Don used to sell for $500 under invoice!
CentralTexHemi 10-25-2007, 07:16 AM I paid 42,500 for a new 07 but I would have to disagree on the interior being nicer on the 08, I think the steering wheel on the 07 is much nicer and some of the accent pieces are just as nice but someone has everyone convinced that the 08's are faster somehow, so if you want the IGIG and HID lights go for the 08 either way your still getting a bad ass ride
srm077 10-25-2007, 07:47 AM Got my Black 08 will all options other than the block heater for $500 under invoice from Don last week. Only had 2 miles on it.

carcrazed 10-25-2007, 01:11 PM I just picked up a brand new '07 for invoice less the dealer holdback of $1,300 - just a shade over $40,000 without the DVD and block heater. Happy hunting!

ILLSMOQ 10-25-2007, 10:29 PM 43k for an 08 with everything but the streaming video + tax etc..
DJ Red Barron 10-25-2007, 10:55 PM I got my '08 from Don as well. $43,770 was the sale price IIRC. Fully loaded including block heater.
PALELLA 10-26-2007, 03:03 AM I paid 43 and some change.
Jeep Trick 10-26-2007, 06:36 AM My interior is better than the 08 yr models.
Keep telling yourself that
What ever helps you sleep at night :p
(And I'm assuming that you’re talking about a 06-07 JGC SRT8, you didn't specify that)
ProjectWJ 10-26-2007, 10:06 AM I bought mine last week w/ 6,300 miles for $37k. Pretty decent for SF Bay Area. :D
Big J,
We use a web site, Cars.com, before we purchase any cars. This site will allow you to build your own version (colors, options, etc), if you chose, and it shows you the MSRP, as well as the invoice price. Price it out on the site before purchasing...you will feel confident knowing that you got a good deal. Our dealer was complaining, as we beat him down in price, that the internet makes it more difficult for him to earn a living.

$500.00 Under Invoice plus all the Taxes and other B.S. (I live in Jersey). Why buy Used when there are a lot of new 07s out there. No on the Warranty.

i agree.......
L8BRAKR 04-08-2008, 07:29 AM I decided this time to go used this time, let somebody else take the depreciation hit first. Got my 07 fully loaded (DVD, Nav etc) for 34,900 with 12k miles still with factory warranty. Found it on Cars.com, Decided to get rid of my S4 which I bought new.
SRT8Girl12 04-08-2008, 11:12 AM I got mine for $43,500. Pretty much the best deal you can get from what I see here...
GregSRT8 04-08-2008, 01:29 PM $41,487 (@ New Carrollton) for the truck itself -- not including destination, $100 processing (I didn't argue this amount), taxes, tags, trade, etc. It's a Brilliant Black '08, pretty much fully loaded except for the backseat TV and engine block heater.
Actually had what I thought was a pretty sweet deal at another local dealer (Silver Spring), but it didn't have Nav and was Red (my first choice, but then I "discovered" black). That deal ($40,900) helped me negotiate my purchase price at New Carrollton.
promo718 04-08-2008, 01:40 PM 48,978.00 out the door for an 07, everything but the rear dvd player. this was the best price i could find in september of 06.
cobraGMike67 04-08-2008, 01:52 PM I traded in a 2005 Nissan Titan 4x4 Crew cab with 48,000 miles...they gave me $20K which was as good as I could hope to get if I sold it on my own. I paid $16,300 in addition to trade for 2007 with 13,000 miles Black, Nav, no rear DVD. Feel good about the trade in price and final SRT-8 price.
johnny--2k 04-08-2008, 02:49 PM 37750 - 5,000 in trade equity, plus TTL for my 07 with everything (nav, roof, ves) except block heater and it had 9200 miles on it. Including the 8/80 powertrain.
All total, OTD was 33,300 give or take a few bucks.
brianm 04-08-2008, 02:56 PM i paid £39,000 for mine last month , thats 78000 bucks ,,, i can hear you laughing all the way over here in Scotland
SRT-MANA 04-08-2008, 03:06 PM ......2008 employee cost! dealer purchase price plus $100.00 = cheap! sorry cant say..
sy1616 04-08-2008, 03:23 PM fully loaded 08 for $44k and change.
