I live in SC and at the mojority of the pumps we have are 87, 89, and 93 octane. I have been reading its best to put in super plus 93 or better. I have also been hearing people put in at least 91 octane. I will be putting in 93 or better on the nights where I will be crusing and getting into it a little bit, but is it fine to put in 89 say, to and from work during the week. I'm not cheap i just wasn't sure if anyone had an answer. If its 93 end of story thats fine. Thanks

You CAN run regular if you really feel it is necessary, basically you will just feel less power. But with the difference in price its hardly worth it, you will just get accustomed to buying premium......the tank is small so it doesnt seem like much money

Order a tune for 93 octane. Then you wouldn't have to worry about choosing gas. Putting in less than 91 octane can also lead to knocking, so dont do it.

I do 91 here in CO, where that is the highest octane you can get.
Also have done 89, assuming that was the same as 91 in higher elevations...noticed no change in mpg or performance.

Running 87 or 89 is feasible, as long as you do not go WOT. The computer will automatically detect the lower octane rating and retard timing. SRT Eng's have stated in the past 87 or 89 is tolerable, but they reiterated, "NO WOT!"
