The automatic dim feature on the NAV/SAT screen doesn't work. I can dim it for night driving by manually selecting that feature, but it stays bright as Hell at night in the automatic mode.
Am I missing something here, or is it broke?

Should dim automatically when you turn your lights on. Call your dealer and get the unit replaced. Already having mine replaced due to joystick malfunction.

I figured it out... I had the dash light brightness selector on "bright". I soon as I turned down the brightness, the NAV screen dimmed immediately after turning on the headlights.
Where's the dunce cap Smilie??
