Hey everybody, I'm from Toronto, Ontario (aka Canada lol) and I just bought the last SRT8 in Ontario. According to the sales manager, only 25 GCSRT8's were made in Canada, so I guess i'm one of the lucky owners. Anyways, I went to the dealership today, went for a test drive (without the sales rep.) and basically I felt like i needed to buy the car right there, so i Did. . It only had 54km's on it (approx. 32miles) So yeah, its big, black and mean looking. Options include GPS Navi/Sat Radio/DVD Entertainment system (which blocks sight in the rear view mirror) and basically anything else that comes on the SRT8. (parktronic, Uconnect etc.) I can't wait to blow the smoke off some Acura MDX's...........anyways, the cars great.

Congrats... these things are the most fun you can have with your pants on.:D

Actually, there are 164 '06 SRT8 GC's in Canada. This in no way diminishes the overall scarcity of the vehicle, because the overall production numbers are fixed.

I heard the 07 production starts in Sept, not July as posted at wkjeeps.com awhile back. I'm hoping my delivery date doesn't get pushed back, I want to enjoy the truck before winter comes.

Yeah I am planning on having this as my all-season car. I've heard all the talk about the need for winter tires, but in Toronto we get sufficient ploughing during the winter in the city. So It shouldn't be a big difficulty to ride on the RS-A's through some slight slush and wet pavement. Congrats on your order of your '07 GC SRT8. I can't wait to go pick it up tomorrow morning. :D

Congrats! Yeah, I think we tend to know more about these than the sales force typically does (I'm sure some know more than others, to be fair)!

Have fun burning up the streets of Toronto! I just took mine up to Sauble Beach, Ontario, and it was hoot! I had her out on the beach, and went to spin the tires/throw a ton of sand on four wheels, which worked for a second, then the traction control bit, and I took off! :eek:

If you can't spin in dry sand, pavement with some snow doesn't concern me too much. I'll be driving mine with the shipped tires in January, in Minnesota.
