hey guys, I am not being an @zz here, but whenever "we"
ask performance related questions to the SRT gods.....
....it always seems like we get the politically correct, Mopar
company responses when we inquire about anything truly
performance related.
I truly appreciate the guys answering our questions, but we
sometimes need hardcore performance related issues
addressed, at least with an honest opinion.
Just my opinion sorry if I come off as a jerk.
Peace out!

They are bound by alot red tape, its a miracle they answer half the things we ask.
Catch one of them at the SRT experience and I guarantee you will get alot of off the record answers.

It would be great to sit down over beers and talk performance with these guys and find out the potential of these cars from their perspective.

I can see your concerns, but I too agree with what the others have said. This day of age you really have to be careful with what you say on the record.... with thousands of members on this open Internet forum it's amazing to me that Chrysler even allows these somewhat official chats to take place. It only takes one slip for someone to march into their local service deparmtment demanding something be fixed under a warranty because "Team SRT said so... hey, it's in black and white on cherokeesrt8.com...read it for yourself". I'm sure it takes a ton of restraint for these guys to answer in the way they do. I couldn't do it.

Well you noticed on the brake rotor issue thats been going on since 06 the srt guy just walked around it.He said pictures would help hell they saw what the dodge n chry were doing. I talked to a srt guy and all he did was note it in my records and said yes they no about the problem but notion as yet they can do. STEVE HAD THE NEW GSM DRILLED ROTORS AND PADS INSTALLED AT 1100 MILES AND HIS WERE SCORED.So it seems there not going to do anything about the jeep rotors.
