She hears some mild revving from another vehicle a lane over and looks down at the odometer - It shows a whopping 5 miles ( We got it with 2 ).

The light turns grean and the other vehicle abosolutley flies away like she is standing still. She slowly eases into the gas and decides to give the new ride a few more miles of break-in before she stomps it ( I gave the SRT the "proper" break in when she got home" )

As least the vehicle that smoked her was another GC SRT 8...:)

Break in?

Drive it like you stole it; babying it is not a good idea. There's a post or two related specifically to break-in, but long story short, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't romp on it.

Are there any 1/4 mile tracks nearby? I wan't to run it to see how it does before the fun begins. Let me know as I'm always up for a trip to the track.

Please note - I did give it the proper break in with under 20 miles.

300 miles is the break in after that drive it like you stole it.

You have to give the seals a chance to break in.

Ronin has a good article on break in's in his sig, I dont agree with it all but some good points are made.
