I just got me fully loaded 08 SRT8 GC on wendsday and so far I love it. I previously had a 06 300c SRT, but I had so many problems with it (100 days in service the first year) that I went to arbitration with chrysler and they agreed to do a buy back. And I have to say chrysler stood behind there product and really took care of me.

Welcome! This is the place to learn about this beast. You will find some similarities between the 300 and the GC, and some quirky differences. Mainly because they were built up from different base platforms. You would expect things like the EVIC displays to be the same, but their not.

I think you will enjoy the GC more than the 300.

I actually owned a 2000 crand cherokee with the 4.7 and I like that alot. My mother has a 06 overland that I have also had the pleasure to drive several times and I just generally have always liked the grand cherokees and agree that I will like this better then the 300 srt. The 300's are great cars also as we also have a 06 300c that has been problem free for the past year and a half.

I have had no major problems with my 06 GC SRT8, just some TSB's that needed to be done. I have 14k on it and it still runs strong! I may be getting the 09 GC SRT8 if it comes out with the 6.4 liter engine, we shall see.

Congrats....You have a twin to mine....I don't know what state you live in however, if you can get rid of the front license plate bracket. They look much cleaner without it.;)
