Well, I just had my truck completely detailed. Had a guy come from out of town to do the job because there isn't ANYONE around here that can buff.

Don't really know the process he used. Just know that he used some type of wool pad to cut, then a portable cable buffer to buff, then applied three coats of Zaino. I'll get some more pictures up later...

Looks fantastic. Can't beat black when it is nice and clean. I just did mine today, didn't need a polishing so I just threw another coat of NXT on. I used to use Zaino religiously but I like how NXT has been treating me.

looks GREAT!!!

Finding someone who can do a good detailing job is tough. I do my own, but I have been detailing cars on the side for about 6 years now, so it's kinda like a hobby. Here are a few pics of my TL after I buffed it....

Actually, everything of mine is polished just like Chris' except for the 2 pipes. I opted for the Satin kit instead of the polished. Personal preference.

No, no no. Haha, takes wet sanding to get that stuff out. There is one spot he wet sanded because of some dumb lady and her purse snap that went down my fender.

I'm looking at doing the ASM kit to my stocker. Did you forge or upgrade any engine internals or are you running stock internals. What are your thoughts on engine reliability if just keeping it at the recommended 5 PSI ? I'm really not looking to go too crazy and reliability is the key to me. Just want to add some more power until the 6.4 comes out. Any input you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey Jack,

No forging or upgrading internals. Just straight bolting on and driving. I think that the motor has absolutely no issue with handling the 5psi. I had a few kinks to work out, but they were due to the error or the installers. Power is insanely awesome. Love love love it! haha.

Yeah looks great, that orange peel really ruins it though. I wonder what it would cost to have the whole vehicle wetsanded to get rid of it all.
