Leo, I do like Borla; but choose a system that is engineered for the SRT8 GC. Do not pick something that just bolts-on and fits.

I am going to procure an exhaust soon. Corsa has been taking their time with the release date; it is tempting to buy the Billy Boat.

Go for the corsa... I know a lot of viper guys that have corsas and they love it and it sounds great. I will be getting the corsa... Anybody know a release date for these yet?

It keeps changing. Somehow Sgt. Stanko finagled a system directly from the factory. I wonder if that would work...

black, thanks for all the info. i have been talking to my tech, he is the lead viper tech. and they have told me the borla is mfg. and designed for the jeep srt not just bolt on or retro. because i have been going back and forth. with the magnaflow. the borla is more money too. but im leaning toward all of you guys in the forums with help on this matter. i trust people like you alot more then a dealer.

hello silver! nice to meet both of you! my jeep is silver also, i take it black yours is black lol. :) so do either of you have the cai yet? and what one do you have if you have it? like i said in my last post i have been leaning on the dealers advice for the cai. and its the mopar. i love the way it looks. and i have been looking at gs turbo but that would just kill the warrnt. and dont know if i want to do that, just now. also how hard would it be on the motor. long term

oh i just talk to a rep at magnaflow today, they said in a few months they are coming out with a new cat. that it will bolt on right after the headers and easy hook up to the exhaust after. they will do everything but the headers

Borla systems are TOP NOTCH...I have had their systems on 4 different vehicles. Exhausts are based on your personal preference...doesn't matter what others think. I went thru 7 catbacks, 4 midpipes and 1 set of shorty headers before I finally decided on my setup for my Cobra...oh yeah, I bought the same mid-pipe twice!!! Talk about indecisive....

This being my daily driver...I am looking for the lowest interior noise.

Just talked to the Corsa rep...formal release has been pushed to Monday and first shipments probably won't take place until the 23rd. I am going to investigate Magnaflow....the wait is killing me!!!

All this exhaust talk and I'm still waiting for someone to teach me how to change my headlight fluid.

I'd really recommend you tackle the blinker fluid first. It's easier to get to, and once you're comfortable with it, then the headlight fluid is sooper easy.
Here's a good How-to:

On the 23rd - shipment from Corsa to Vendor, or from Vendor to Customer?

I took it as shipping from Corsa.

So now that the conversation has been bumped what do we figure for a 2010 Jeep? I like Borla as I have had them on my mustang years ago. I drove a jeep for a week with magnaflow and it sounded great. A salesman at the stealership has Corsa on his and blah blah blah something technical he suggests Corsa only.

Any thoughts or input from the masses? Input helpful or not is always appeciated :)

Tks...

I have heard all the different catback sounds that apply to the srt8, and borla consistantly ranks at the top. since corsa has no packing, its sound is more metallic.

So no dice on the magnaflow?

A store hear has the Borla on for 1200...I can get magnaflow installed for 1050. I cannot install the Borla myself so I am torn.

ALso I am not sure if it is the Borla S if there is a difference.

All help appreciated

The Borla S is one of the loudest catbacks I have heard. I love the sound of it. The magnaflow sounds nice too, just not as loud as the S IMHO.

My wife's Zoomers cat back is louder than my Borla S according to all my neighbors, haha. But the Borla has a way better sound to it IMO. Both from outside & the sound you yourself hear in the car while drive. Both drone but I don't care about that & it doesn't bother me.

Man, that price on the Magnaflow seems high. I just ordered the 16709 Stainless Cat-back system for $640 shipped. Save a few bucks and shop around!

My Magnaflow system is 5 years old now. It's got almost 100K miles on it. It's seen CRAZY exhaust temps with the turbo kit on it. Still sounds great. No packing being left on the track one bit..... cough cough BJB's B&B cough cough. The Magnaflow has a great sound to it. It's a highly over looked system IMO. I've driven PLENTY of Jeeps with the Borla system. The drone is obnoxious! I just put a Borla S system on my 300SRT. Sounds great. It's a different system than the Jeeps. The Borla has a deep bass sound to it. Corsa is ratty loud IMO. The Borla is a 2.75" system vs the Magnaflow's 3" system.

Installed my Borla S-Type on Tuesday of this week.
Wow! This one video contains the before and after. Watch the entire clip. And I apologize for the shaky video, so just shut your eyes and listen the glorious sound.

I think corsa is a great choice, but i recently got borla s catback and i couldn't be happier! It sounds awesome, and looks even nicer. I highly recommend borla! Wouldn't change my decision at all

Is your borla s system cat back with out headers just stock and it still sounds great? Also any suggestions on we're I could order up one at a good price? And I seem to have a rev limiter at 3k how do I get rid of that when I put the new exhaust in
