Leo, I do like Borla; but choose a system that is engineered for the SRT8 GC. Do not pick something that just bolts-on and fits.

I am going to procure an exhaust soon. Corsa has been taking their time with the release date; it is tempting to buy the Billy Boat.

Go for the corsa... I know a lot of viper guys that have corsas and they love it and it sounds great. I will be getting the corsa... Anybody know a release date for these yet?

It keeps changing. Somehow Sgt. Stanko finagled a system directly from the factory. I wonder if that would work...

black, thanks for all the info. i have been talking to my tech, he is the lead viper tech. and they have told me the borla is mfg. and designed for the jeep srt not just bolt on or retro. because i have been going back and forth. with the magnaflow. the borla is more money too. but im leaning toward all of you guys in the forums with help on this matter. i trust people like you alot more then a dealer.

hello silver! nice to meet both of you! my jeep is silver also, i take it black yours is black lol. :) so do either of you have the cai yet? and what one do you have if you have it? like i said in my last post i have been leaning on the dealers advice for the cai. and its the mopar. i love the way it looks. and i have been looking at gs turbo but that would just kill the warrnt. and dont know if i want to do that, just now. also how hard would it be on the motor. long term

oh i just talk to a rep at magnaflow today, they said in a few months they are coming out with a new cat. that it will bolt on right after the headers and easy hook up to the exhaust after. they will do everything but the headers

Leo,

I just bought the DUB Air CAI, and I am extremely impressed. Here is my review with pictures.... http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/showthread.php?t=736

Borla systems are TOP NOTCH...I have had their systems on 4 different vehicles. Exhausts are based on your personal preference...doesn't matter what others think. I went thru 7 catbacks, 4 midpipes and 1 set of shorty headers before I finally decided on my setup for my Cobra...oh yeah, I bought the same mid-pipe twice!!! Talk about indecisive....

This being my daily driver...I am looking for the lowest interior noise.

Just talked to the Corsa rep...formal release has been pushed to Monday and first shipments probably won't take place until the 23rd. I am going to investigate Magnaflow....the wait is killing me!!!

All this exhaust talk and I'm still waiting for someone to teach me how to change my headlight fluid.

I'd really recommend you tackle the blinker fluid first. It's easier to get to, and once you're comfortable with it, then the headlight fluid is sooper easy.
Here's a good How-to:

On the 23rd - shipment from Corsa to Vendor, or from Vendor to Customer?

I took it as shipping from Corsa.
