Was the warranty voided?

This should not void the warranty. Every dealer is different, some difficult and some easy to work with. Most likely, it won't be an issue.

I am surprised at this comment. Major engine modification will not void the warranty, but a supercharger will?

Regardless, I appreciate your response, and if you are correct, you will receive a sale.

Thanks!

Hey there.

Once again, every dealer is different. I cannot quote what a dealer may or may not tell you in regards to mods to your vehicle.

With a SuperCharger, it's obvious as soon as you hear it run and/or as soon as you pop the hood. With internal engine work, it's possible it'll go overlooked.

Once again, I cannot make promises as to what any given dealer may or may not say in regards to your motor. Keeping quiet with such a mod may possibly go overlooked. Not going to happen with the Supercharger. There's no way to hide a blower from the badguys.

You'll be a happy camper with head/intake work. Solid, reliable horsepower....... the old school way.

If you're anything like me, the more mods I do, the deeper into the throttle I go. It'd be hard to say, my friend.

So your whole warranty was not voided? You still have complete coverage on the drivetrain and engine?

GS told me it would take about 10 hours. The chrysler dealer that did the job billed for 12 hours.

Sounds like a difference of about $180...

But as you know, every install can be a bit different. Sometimes, installs can work against you. I'm sure we've had them take close to the same, but generally it's right around 10, my friend.

A few free oil changes and some wholesale pricing on any performance Mopar products and it'll act as a bandaid. Get in there and gripe.
