While playing with the youngins out in front of the house yesterday someone rolled by with a black GC with what looked like temp tags. I had my GC out in front and was surprised they didnt stop.

Anyone around here?

It almost looked like they were house shopping. I hope so because all my neighbors drive benz, bmw, lex and the like. they think I am a hoodlum with the viper and the GC.

It was not me, I could not afford to live in Glenview. If you see a Steel Blue 07 in a few weeks, it will be me...!

I wasn't in that area yesterday, but that was me on Lincoln a few days ago. I knew it was you, I recognized the triangle sticker you have on your rear windows. I wanted to stop you an check out your zoomers, but I was already late for a meeting.

Guess we both missed the memo, you know the one that says when you turn 30 you have to settle down and be "practical". :D

Krush, that sticker is like my calling card, its on all my cars....At 200mph you have no friends...
I heard there were a few guys in skokie with GC's so I just assumed that was one of them on lincoln. Had I known it was you I would have rammed you. Beers at the Village Inn are in order soon.

The memo re: growing up flew right past my desk. My wife is embarrassed by my chidish behavior but if I am not going 150 with my hair on fire I aint having fun.

As far as Glenview is concerned, the prices here have become nuts. When I grew up in Morton Grove, Glenview was no big deal. Now the cheapest house in my hood is up for 1.4, while another house a few hundred feet away is up for 3.7. This area has become nuts.

I know, I almost had Tony Cesario build a home in Glenview for me, but after looking at the available lots, decided to go with a larger home on 5 acres in Barrington Hills. After receiving my Tax bill last week, I told my wife to start packing as we are moving to a Des Plaines Trailer Park off of Touhy and 83.

With the rate increases and energy costs, homes have been sitting longer and longer. Made more money this year shorting builders than I have in the past 5 years combined. All cyclical.

Two very nice areas, Glenview and Barrington Hills, I looked along the northshore but just couldn't justify spending the money being single without any ankle biters. Morton Grove is getting up there Zen, I just bought a townhouse in the grove and it cost me 500, for a 10 year old townhouse!

Beers during the summer outside in the Glen is usually much more entertaining.
