So my dealership called me finally, i was waiting for a car to be fully loaded. but they said they had one with out the HID, back seat heaters and rear tv package.
now i really don't care for that, except the HID.. now i know i can go after market, but i wanted the auto adjusting HID. so i guess my question is there a way i can buy the entire assembly and just drop it in the 08??!?!?
help me out plz!! thank you guys!!

Forget it, the HID's are a very complex system, heavily integrated into the vehicle electronics. It would cost you at least a couple grand if not more, and then no guarantee that everything would work properly.
Take my advice, WAIT until one comes in that has the HID option (SRT Group II), or special order your '08. When it's all said and done you will be glad you waited.

well thanks for the quick response. the car arrives in 3 days, im gonna go look at it ;( might be tempted to buy it.. but i think i will wait for what i really want

Just get it loaded. It's not that much if you buy from Don.

well i'm from Canada, and i don't think this "Don" is? Since none of you are Canadian.
You guys are right i should not settle.. its something that will bother me after the two weeks of pleasure is gone.. so what if i gotta wait till winter to drive it.. i guess ill be twice as happy when i get it now :D

Yes, Don is stateside. Remember, don't resist the temptation on such a major purchase, time really does fly, even in Canada!
