I'm planning on heading down to the "pike" at around 9:30 .....

I'm going to meet a 12 sec TBSS and hopefully there will be some other nice cars there also.....last time there was a TT C6, TT Viper and a Ford GT to name a few.....for those of you who know about the pike and the idiot high school kids who race their fart can civics all the time....dont worry....we will obvi not be doing any of that nonsense.....

If anything does go down...it will be far from the pike...but we are going to meet there initially.....

If your interested post up and PM your cell so I can give you all the info!

o rly? As one could possibly infer from the subject of the post, the location is - Berlin, CT.. CT is an abbreviation for Connecticut.. :p

At least one GCSRT8 needs to come out. When a TBSS and a CTT are in the same place; its pretty much mandatory that a GCSRT8 comes out. Take a look in the owners manual.. its in the appendix.

I have family in that area, and spent some time at the "Pike" growing up.
I thought the cops were all over that place like white on rice lately.

Saturday is a legitimate car show, so they don't hassle you unless you are being a dumbass. Not to sound like a cliche domestic owner, but it wasn't until F&F hit the theatres that the pike got stupid. When the cops weren't there as much as they are now, it was hard to drive without having to dodge some stupid ass going sideways in his mom's honda cuz he couldn't handle 'teh vtek'. It was like ricers on ice..

So although there is an increased police presence, its still enjoyable.. Its not like I plan to go do donuts in the circuit city parking lot or something.. And as far as racing goes; it wouldn't be a good idea to do it on the pike even if there were no cops.. Theres still plenty of idiots that think a yellow light means "you better hurry up" but lack the power to make it thru..

Neither of us went.. I guess we both were just so heart broken that our SRT8 friends couldn't join us. I missed out on seeing the 11.2@122 AWD SS. :( Next Saturday. Lets have a little plus size performance get together.
