It looks like the nail is only in the sidewall and did not puncture the tire . I dont want to take it out in case it is going to leak, but it will make one hell of a projectile @ 130mph .Should I take it to get pached from the inside ? It has not lost any air in the last 6 or 7 days .

You can't get runflats patched on the sidewall. My sister in law has replaced 2 runflats on her RX-8 because of sidewall punctures. I hope you bought a warranty on your tires or else your out $380.

Definitely take it to a tire pro... NOW!
It's scary to think you have been driving on it like this for a week.
It's not a matter of whether it's losing air, it's a matter of safety - yours and those sharing the road with you!

The tire will need to be replaced, no cost to you, it is covered under warranty.

What warranty is it covered under? We haven't been driving fast with the nail just a few city miles . However its a ribbed nail it will be a challenge to someone to get it out hahahaha. I think I had seen a lady in a porsche with a hammer

The warranty is honored through Goodyear. The tires are covered for road hazards during the first 2/32" of treadwear or 12 months, whichever occurs first. You need to find a Goodyear EMT (Extended Mobile Technology) dealer. Call the Goodyear EMT Service locator system at 800-786-3528. If you have a Discount Tire store in your area they will handle the tire replacement.

Always glad to help...

I went through a similar experience a month ago, had a nail in my front tire and called Goodyear. To my surprise one of the local EMT warranty dealers they gave me was "Discount Tire", which I never would have thought of as a Goodyear warranty station for my run-flats. There was a Discount Tire store just a few miles from home. Called them on a Saturday, they said "bring it in". The customer service was outstanding. They told me the tire was repairable and to return in an hour which I did...

...Walked up to their showroom door and before I could reach the handle an employee came out and welcomed me, handed me a receipt with my keys and said "see ya later". No cost, nothing to sign, couldn't have been easier. As I walked over to my car I noticed that they had parked it sideways across two stalls - that was the icing on the cake, these guys really do care!

Jeep dealers do not cover the warranty the tires. Do you have a Discount Tire store in town? If not the Goodyear 800 # I gave should give you info on the closest dealer. Whoever does the repair should be able to expedite shipping for the tire. I have heard of some cases where the tires have been sent overnight shipping. Your mileage may vary.

Speed your telling me that Goodyear covers it even without any extended wrrnty ??? Dam where were you a month ago when I got nailed a few days after I bought it $*@&$@(*^$@($

I found out 2 things that day, #1 the computer tells you you have a flat,
how cool is that, and #2 you def can drive with no air in the tire cause I did.
I paid a local shop to fix it, (only cost me 20.00 so no biggy) but had I known I could have gotten a new tire for free, things would have went another way.
AMOF, I may just have to go find another nail.... :p

I was searching thru ebay last week and found 4 new RS-A tires just taken off a new Jeep SRT8, the guy wanted $400 for all 4, I should have bought them. After that I found 1 rear rim for sale 20 x 10, I won the auction for $76.00 for 1 rear SRT8 rim. I redemed myself.:D

You would only get a new tire IF it cannot be repaired...

It is always great to have someone go just the extra few steps to makes dealing your problem that much easier. If I need tire work thats who I will use.
