Hey guys, sorry if this has already been asked, but what is being changed for 2007? J/W if there were gonna be any new interior/exterior color options?

Two new colors, red (brighter red then Inferno) and Steel Blue (or Blue Steel???). Remote start is standard (with SRT1 option??), roof spoiler is standard, backup camera optional with nav, kicker stereo option available later in 07 model run. Small price increase.

I've got an 07 on order, on my papers, it shows the camera as part of the nav package, not an extra option.

Nope, Red Rock was introduced on late 06 models.....like Steel blue as well.

gotcha, thanks...I've been told a month or two on my 07 and was freakin out if some already have theres.

It looks like the future jeep section( http://wkjeeps.com/future_jeeps.htm#SRT8 ) of wk jeeps got updated. I noticed that the production starts date changed from July to September and there is no more rear spoiler listed:mad: I really wish that spoiler was standard.

That might be good news for us 06 owners that want to upgrade on the soft-touch...it should be cheaper from a Jeep dealer to buy the parts to upgrade then it would be to buy the aftermarket from Startech (since anything distributed by Brabus USA is likely very overpriced).

You wll be able to easily add it to a 2006 or 2007 model, surround sound too if you have the rear DVD.

there is a dealer down the street from me that has the steel blue 07 on its lot. for ****s and giggles i asked him what he would give me on a trade for my 06 silver loaded with every opt. plus i added m/ cai and exhaust. dude. dealers are so funny when they think they can mark up things. when i got mine in 03/06 i was one of the first around my area of northern nj to have one. i got it because alot of people orderd this truck and i had a 5star dealer who dose alot of volume that didnt mind taking a huge supply of chargers to get alot of str8 chargers 300's and magnoms. in fact when i got my jeep they had 3 srt8 mags and 4 300s on the lot. i drove all of them. seems like no one wanted the other ones. wich in my opion makes sence, with all this power you might as well go with the one that at least has all wheel drive. anyway back to what i was saying, i got mine because alot of people put the jeep on order but back out when the truck came in because either they were losing to much money on there trade in, and were trying to sell by self, or they didnt want to spend upper 40s and pay this much in gas. to me they are stupid what did they think when they orderd the car lol. i got mine for a grand under sticker price back then wich was unheard of. i traded in my daytona charger 06 that i had for 3 months, lol i owned it so it didnt matter that i lost 2 grand on that. so it made up for them giving me a grand under sticker. anyway, the dealer that i went to the other day for the 07 for ****s and giggles, wanted to only give me 32500 for my truck. lol not that i would have even traded mine in for a 07 like my color better , but its so funny how dealers try to rip off people. sorry for the longest way around to tell a stupid story lol

It is for lane changes. Quickly tap the stick, and the turn signal with flash three times.

This feature was designed to eradicate the monotony of lane change signaling.

I got all the stuff on my new 2007 and its RED ROCK which I happen to like a lot.
Some don't like because it changes color in different light but that suits my mood anyway. Check out the pictures!

The remote start and the stereo are great and yes that 3 blink light is fantastic - whoever thought of that?:D

I really hope so. I don't understand why all cars don't have this standard. There is no good way to hook an iPod up to a car stereo these days because they don't even have the tape slot which actually worked reasonably well and didn't lose much signal quality at all. Huge pet peeve of mine when you upgrade to a Nav system and you actually lose functionality like the aux inputs you see on even some base stereos these days.

And just thought of one more question - I understand both the base level and the Nav system offer the ability to read MP3 CDs right? Can they also read MP3 DVDs? How well does this feature work? That would be at least a band aid if you can load in a disc loaded with MP3s and have some decent navigation through your MP3s on the disc.

Also, isn't there (forgot the name, sorry) the front windshield 'screen', driver reflector that is on the new vettes as well? I believe that the purpose is to hone in on your dashboard readings without having to tilt your line of site downwards..

I agree - $750 bucks for a friggin "rain guard"!. But, it does add a nice accent for a rear spoiler

No auxilary input for MP3 players as of right now. Check out the device from Peripheral, http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/prodDetail.asp?strProductID=724&strCategory=iPod%20Solutions&strSearch=. It has not been released yet, but it looks like it will do the job nicely.

For the 2007 model year, the MyGIG radio is available ONLY in the following models:

Jeep Wrangler (Sahara & Rubicon)
Dodge Nitro
Chrysler Sebring
Dodge Avenger

For the 2008 model year MyGIG will be offered in the Grand Cherokee. It is NOT compatible with 2007 or prior Grand Cherokee models.

I call B.S. ..... There is no flippin' way that engine is coming out with all these bail out talks...If the government does bail out the auto makers one of their major terms is that the companies must make more fuel/energy efficent cars. The only thing going for the 6.4 is that it has MDS and fuel prices have come down, but I just don't see it happening...

Check your facts. One of the things in consideration IF a bailout comes into play would be the relaxation of the fuel economy standards. Besides, the SRT vehicles are very low volume and therefore have a negligible effect on the overall fuel economy averages. Sales and demand will determine the near future (next few years) sales production of performance vehicles, not fuel standards. As I stated, the 6.4L is STILL on the books for future production and has NOT been cancelled as of this point in time. That of course can all change if Chrysler is sold or other things happen. I'm not saying the 6.4L WILL come out, only that it is STILL scheduled and that no one can rule it out just yet.
