Hey guys,

I an interested in the GSM it for the Jeep but would to know what issues if any there were with their previous kits. I know they make kits for the other SRT vehicles, has there been any reports of failures of the paxton supercharger? Is the kit going to damage the engine or is it done properly and the engine and drivetrain can handle the abuse?

thanks,
Derek

Many drivetrain components can handle up to 600 HP.

I have seen great things from Paxton. The quality of the unit and system is ahead of other similar units. I have a Novi 2000 on a 360 in a Dakota, and was quite happy with the install and quality and of course the performance.

I would call Paxton and talk to "THEM" directly about questions you have regarding the use on a 6.1L Hemi. From what I hear they do not recommend it and do not sell a kit for it. That is where GS Motorsports has stepped up and taken the extra 1/4 mile by making a kit, "and the responsibility that comes with it".

However...

I would look into the track record of any high performance shop before making a serious upgrade to a $45,000 vehicle.

I am all about pushing performance to the edge, if your willing to take the risks on your engine. I am not ready for that, mainly to do with my trust in Paxton that say they don't recommend it. Although I applaud GS for making the option available, I shall wait to see the outcome of such high performance. Besides, I have my own ideas about upgrades. (Fuel Injection is amazing if you know how to tune it)

Paxton is the only way to go.

Our shop Jeep RIPS. You won't be bummed on the kit. Paxton has been the leader of the group for years. The guys over there are great. If there's anything we can do to help you out, let me know.

As far as damage to your motor, as long as the kit is properly installed and properly tuned and maintained, you'll have no problems. The 6.1 is a monster. Keep an eye out for our billet bottom end upgrades coming soon. It'll be bulletproof.

Let me know how I can help you out. Call me, we have a ton of performance goodies for the Jeep.

I was just wondering what the hell happened to the blower kit GSM was building for the GC. I contacted you guys 5 mounths ago about a customer of mine wanting a kit. At that time i was told 2 weeks to ship mabye 3. Im always alittle bit carefull with the checks in the mail story so i didnt sell the job. Glad i didnt !! nothing worse than a disapointed pissed off customer !!
Then i turned another customer of mine on to GSM For a set of cylinder heads for a 300 srt and he also was told that it be a few weeks for the heads.
3 months later no heads, and to boot they charged his credit card when the order was placed for the heads and a core charge then never even sent the heads. I belive after a few phone calls they made good on his heads and threw him a discount. However i guess what im saying is seems to many companys are more than willing to take your money up front and deliver when ever they get around to it. In my opinon not the best way to do buisness. I think more companys should be strait up with there customers and gain there trust as well as dollar! just my 2 cents Now how about that SC kit.

Good morning all,

In regards to the Jeep blower kit, our customer service and the core charges...

As a business owner, I'm quite sure you're aware that once in a while, things can take a bit longer than you want it to. When developing products, (especially performance products), we want and MUST make sure we're delivering superior goods and workmanship. WHile Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler vehicles are much harder to tackle, we've done everything in our power to make sure what we'll be delivering to our customers is up to par. If we haul ass just to get our goods on the shelf, we will run into problems, as will our customers. I do apologize for the delay in getting these SRT Jeep kits built as quickly as we originally wanted to, but I have zero regrets in regards to the development time. This kit is going to be a BADASS kit and for those that have been patient with us, I have 100% faith that you'll be VERY happy with it.

As for taking deposits on the Jeep kit to keep your place in line, I think this is/was a very bulletproof way to do so and beleive it's very common practice for such a creation.

With the heads and intake packages, we are at the leisure of Chrysler. We do not develop and build these heads guys. If Chrysler has a hold on them, there is nothing we can do but wait. If it was up to us, we'd have a one day turn around and get you taken care of and running strong ASAP. Core charges are VERY common in the industry as I'm sure you know and recognize. Just like anyone else, the core charge will be refunded to you as soon as we receive the goods in return.

I do apologize for our lack of communication to you and your customer, as there is no excuse for that. It is now my job to make sure that does not happen and I take pride in my work. Feel free to PM me, call me, e-mail me or use any method you'd like to contact me with your problems, praises or concerns. I'd be more than happy to help you.

Thanks once again for your patience guys. We're doing our best to make your vehicles monsters and we want you to be able to enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours. If there's anything at all I can do or any questions I can answer, please let me know. I'll do my best to help you out ASAP. Just know that our volume has increased dramatically. While this is no excuse for any lack of customer service, I only ask for your consideration and patience.

Thanks guys/gals.
