Guys that have one: Where did you find it? How is the reception? I'm looking for one right now and want to know where to buy a good one. Thanks.

Search for RM360 billet antenna. He makes batches and sell them to forum members. Nicest one I've seen yet IMO.

I think you'll find any stubby antenna like this gets so so reception at times. I got it for the looks though! There's SAT, mp3s, CDs to listen too anyway. I almost never listen to AM or FM.

$60 I think. It does look really good.

I know exactly what ya mean. I haven't even turned FM or AM on since I got the Jeep.

Cool new sig pic, BTW.

I live 3 blocks from rm, and he installed mine. Since the area around here is flatter than a mallard's instep, I get the same reception as I did with the buggy whip... excellent. If you live around a lot of big trees and/or buildings... reception will not be as good as stock. But it'll still look good!

My reception did not change on FM stations but did decrease slightly on AM stations.

I believe rm360 is not a supporting vendor, and therefore no longer sells on this site. I did, however, get mine, and must say it is by far the best one on the market.

You could contact Randy Marchetti at www.trueflow.com and see if he will make some more antennas.

So, is the reception OK with the 6" adapter?

i just got the 9" from autoaccessory and none of the adapters fit my 07....I'm pissed off right now. This is on top of the fact that it took them three weeks to send it to me. The threads were all cross threaded in the antenna and after some finesse I got the adapters to all fit, but none are big enough for the Jeep....this blows.

same thing happened to me from them, they suck

well, I got it fixed, and cheap too. I went to Ace hardware and the problem is as follows. The factory antenna is standard (1/4 20 thread) and the AA antena is metric (M6) a bit smaller than the factory antenna. He tapped the AA antenna to the 1/4 20 thread and gave me a screw with a hex opening on one end...tightened it into the AA antenna, then screwed it into the car. Problem solved for $0.42!!!
