I appreciate you helping the forum, Steve, but this reinforces my decision to buy an '06 with EP.

Actually in Canada there is EP on every SRT8 but the Grand Cherokee. Plus when EP was introduced EP was only on the GC for one day and then they revised it and took it off. At this point I believe there are 0 2006 SRT8 GC in Canada.

Keep in mind that is Canadian pricing.

To my knowledge, some dealers in the US are still offering EP for the SRT8 GC. Those dealers are worth finding because the incentive is worth $5,000, or roughly 10% of the overall price.

As you said, SRT8 GC's are rare up North, so I am positive somebody will jump at your offer. Thanks for the post.

BlackSRT - I am talking in Canada. In the US I believe EP pricing is in effect for SRT8 Grand Cherokee's.

I hope you are going to jump on one. They are awsome!!!

Congratulations and enjoy! Can you believe some people were paying $55,000 only a few months ago?

Patience is a virtue.

Patience is a virtue.

Depends on what's important to the buyer. The "first to own/got to have it" factor always plays a part for some on exclusive vehicles. If saving $4k or $5k is more important, then patience pays.

people were paying $55 US?? Wow. Whats MSRP in the US?

When referring to the ubiquitous $10,000 markup, which would put the overall price @ $55,000, he saved $14,000. The first-to-have-it factor is irrelevant for many reasons: aftermarket parts are hardly developed, the vehicle is limited but not exclusive (Audi only made 1000 RS6's in 2003, that is exclusive), and your neighbor can procure one @ MSRP or lower with ease.

Anywhere from $40,000 to $46,000, depending on options.

Hey Steve. I don't suppose you still have the 2007 Jeep SRT8 available? If not the Red Rock Pearl in your original post what do you have available?

He is in Canada .. where just because our currency is differentiated by only about 10% , the auto manufactures still justify a 25-30% price hike to us Canadians
