Has any one heard if Jeep has started production on the 2007 Jeep SRT8? Previous posts stated July, but have not read anything since then.

I heard production for the 2007 SRT8 GC begins July 1.

If you have one ordered, and you are wondering when you can expect shipment, August is the best outlook and November is the worst case scenario.

My 07 GC SRT ships on 8/10. I thought they started production on the 07's last week.

Generally, build-time and testing take one month, so an 8/10 shipdate seems ambitious.

My production began 5/15, my shipdate was 6/17, and I procured my vehicle the day it arrived at the dealership, 7/10.

I have a 2007 that went into production July 20 and is now pulled for Quality Control check. Ship date was changed from 7/24 to 8/02. I should know if it shipped by Thursday.

Looks like things are going backwards. Ship date changed to 8/8. First call back from regional office said Red Rock paint was the problem, now they say not sure what's going on, Regional ofice contacted factory via e-mail, waiting for reply.

Milous at the blue site says a production start is set for September 1st.

Our car will be at the dealer around the end of august. The dealer is in Nevada... This is supposed to be a confirmed date btw

The price is about the same as the 06....I am getting mine for 1K over invoice. Not as good as EP pricing on the 06's, but still well under list, and not bad for an 07.

I just received a e-mail from Customer Service this morning telling me my order will not be produced for another three weeks unless it's moved back further in the future. This order was submitted in June when the orders opened, we got a VON immediately and VIN one week later with a ship date of 7/29, I believe. Then it changed to 8/1, then 8/10, then 8/14, which it still shows today. Does anybody out there have any idea when they will be producing the SRT8 GC's.

wkjeeps.com shows Sept. 1st as the start of production for 07 GC SRT8s.

Spoke to my dealer 1 wk ago and he says my order was in production ( I doubt it) and he said to expect delivery at end of Sept.

Mine is now in Framing, and should be completed around 9/9, and then hopefully ship soon after that...anyway that is why I was told when I called Jeep.

Customer Service tells me a minimum of three weeks two days ago, today the dealer calls and says it's D1 with a ship date of 9/8. It's getting to be - I'll believe it when I see it!

Hi, I got a call from my dealer in Az this AM and he said my 07 is on a train enroute and I should have it Mon or Tue. John

I got a ship date today of 9/20!!!

Looks like mine will be arriving around 10/1....yay!!

My dealer just called, and Jeep is at the depot, waiting on a ride to Chicago. Should be here on 9/12. Man, I could walk to Detroit in less time than that!
