It does look good!
I did the same thing to my black biatch!
Zaino is pretty easy compared to a lot of waxes...

After much trial and error ( lots of error) I found the best way to deal with the black car.

1. Rinse with hose without nozzle, get a nice sheet of water flow and you ll see any dirt particles cause a disruption in the flow and you can remove them.

2. Take a nice sheepskin wash mitt and do the car front to back and top to bottom.

3. Use separate sponge/mitt to do the area below the trim.

4. Use wet towel to clean the wheels.

5. Have one bucket with the wash and another with just water to rinse the mitt between different sections of the car. This makes a big difference.

3. Use a leaf blower ( I use a Toro 215mph blower) to dry the car. It might sound crazy but once you see it work you ll never use the chamois again. This eliminates one point where you have to touch the car and potentially scratch it.

4. Apply wax/polish with microfiber towel ( buy good quality towels )

5. Remove with another microfiber towel.

6. Sit down and stare at the masterpiece in front of you.

It might sound a little meticulous and anal but it works and owning this black monster has made me vigilant of things I didnt give two sh!ts about before.

Good luck, feel free to PM with any questions.

#3 is ESSENTIAL!!!!! Also use a 3rd mitt for wheels if you can.

Hot water is a nice option as well, and if you can use a PC for application, it'll make a world of difference getting your polishes and waxes evenly applied.

What does PC stand for?
I didnt even like the cotton applicator and straight up used microfiber towels

Porter Cable. Sorry 'bout that. Any random orbital will work.... PC is just my brand of choice. But when / if you make the leap to a machine, you must not skimp. And be absolutely certain it's a random orbital and not a $24.99 rotary buffer from Pep Boys. They take a bit of time to learn to use, but they make all the difference in the world. Use them for all steps.... paint cleaner, scratch/swirl remover, polishes, waxes etc. Use different pads for each product (labelling them on the backside is a good idea). Griot's usually has good deals on these kinds of products. (http://www.griotsgarage.com)

Your SRT8 is a black mirror.

Impeccable job on the finish and thanks for the tips.

Love the leaf blower idea...
Gonna go buy one and try it.

yeah, the leaf blower is one of the best things I stumbled onto. Especially once your car is waxed/polished, the water just runs away. No water spots, nothing.

Just be sure there is no loose gravel in the driveway.

After the initial wash and clay Zaino is a breeze to put on and off, I have 15 coats on mine and it gets easier to apply and remove with every coat you put on, best polish hands down beats any wax for shine and ease of application and removal.
