After last year's debacle over the 0% (including the GC SRT)... I finally put it past me and picked up my SRT. And boy, am I glad I waited. I originally went down to buy an '07 Steel Blue, and this '08 was just rolling off the delivery truck. The black (ah hem... dark slate) interior, mygig, hids, etc... made it worthwhile.

So I take it they are offering 0% interest on the 07' but not the 08', right.

I agree i liked the interior better on the 08 but my dealer had 7 07 srt-8 and he wanted window 4 the 08. so i got the 07 at invoice which was 43424 and my window was 46665.he said in about 6-8 months he could sell me the 08 at 500 over invoice .couldnt see paying 3500 extra for thye 08 with same eq at this time and my wife hated the 06 srt-8 magnum we had. i have never owned a black car and she picked this 1 out lol. only colors the had left was sliver blue steel n black. the blue steel had a build date of 6-06 so i not want that 1 been sittin a yr .

Or you can get a 2008 from Don @ Champion for $500 UNDER invoice. I paid the same price for my loaded 2008 as you did for your 2007.

Last year I received an email specifically mentioning that the GC SRT had 0%. After spending a couple of hours negotiating with the dealer, we finally found out that the email had been a mistake on Chrysler's part, and they would not honor it. I don't believe there is any 0% promotion that includes the GC SRT. Sorry if I created any confusion.

If you're thinking about buying a GC, *definitely* shop different dealers. Although one dealer I went to would not go lower than MSRP (subtracting their initial $7k markup) on '07, another was more than happy to go well below MSRP on the '08.
