I will spend quite a bit, as long as I can get the results i'm looking for. I am mainly wanting to beef up the engine a little and get better gas mileage if possible.

I'm guessing the SEARCH link at the top is a good place to start.

Jake, if you wana get crazy with it heads, cams, exhaust, headers, intake manifold port/polish coat, CAI , B&G or predator, and a 125 shot will put you in the low to mid 11's easily. You are more then welcome to come to the shop at anytime and i'll hook you up. OH yea and BTW congrats on the new signing.

Would this be a good part to get, or is there something better? http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?pid=21696

to be honest jake"NO" this thing does not work and a waste of money..i would say the best thing for you to do is give mike "bwoody" a call and tell him what your goals are with this beast and take it from there...

Haha freeze, that was probably a dumb question. Yes, Mike and Gregg have been very helpful..just trying to get as much info as I can before making any purchases. And I am trying to figure out how to get the parts installed?

here are some mods you should consider:

1) Exhaust - go with Borla, BillyBoat, or other (5-20 HP/TQ gain)

2) Cold air intake - go with Bwoody, Volant, etc (5 HP/TQ gain)

3) PCM upgrade - go with B&G stage II, or wait for the Diablo hand held device (up to 40 HP/TQ gain)

4) Heads and cam - Dynamic racing H/C, CMW H/C, or other setup (heads and cam upgrade will net you an additional 60-80 HP/TQ gains)

5) super charger or turbo setup - ASM has the best supercharger kit out for our jeeps. There are no production turbo kits out yet, but there are a number of companies working on them as we speak. If you opt for either the turbo or SC, it might be a good idea to forge the bottom end, especially if you do heads and cam also. (75-150 HP?TQ gain)

5.5) Nitrous oxide - baest bang for the buck mod - Zex has a good kit - expect gains anywhere from 50 to 150 HP/TQ increase -

6) headers - least bang for the buck option in my opinion, but some folks have them - Kooks headers cause "check engine light" in our jeeps

7) minor mods that work well - 170/180 degree thermostat - this mod keeps coolant and engine temps lower - lower engine/coolant temps makes the hemi run better. Fan mod - do a search on the forum - helps to keep coolant temps low - works well at the track. Phenolic spacers - keeps the intake manifold cooler, wich inturn keeps intake air cooler - cooler intake air equals more HP.

Good luck with the pitching!

Go Sox! :)
