I've been waiting for this. It happens to be my preference for cold air induction.
15.3 HP at 5046 RPM
I have an oppurtunity for a group buy on this for $300 or less, shipped.
If anyone is interested please contact me direct.

Really...
Thanks for the update. I tried to view the HP Graphs on their website, but had trouble.
Do you think the HP would be larger then , considered from a "precentage Increase" point of view?

it would be smaller, I think, as the 6.1 is tweaked more

Is the HP gain going to be much larger if you buy the whole cold air intake versus just dropping a K&N filter into the stock air box?

My guess is it will be the same of slightly more...larger engine getting more fresh air in quicker = more power IMO. That fact that the engine is "tweaked" can only help.

I beg to differ. THe 5.7 was not built with a performance mindset so elements are more restrictive. A change will have a greater impact.
the 6.1 on the other hand is performance geared. The intake is not that restrictive and the tube save for the air filter can handle the cfm this motor needs.
It is the same peoplpe who go and get all these elaborate exhausts and pipes only to lose hp and performance. This motor is not an old school small block that needs nothing but a carb and headers. it is tuned to run well with what it has. The backpressure and un equal flow from the two pipes is all intentional. My whole point is that this motor is not ignored the engineers. It already has done to it from the factory things that many would do aftermarket. So enjoy your CAI, but dont look for a 20hp gain.

We agree to disagree...BTW...it is probably tuned pretty fat from the factory.
