Just wanted to post up some pics of an SRT8 that we did a few months ago.
Here is a list of the components used in the install:
- Rockford 360.2 (integrates the OEM radio to sound like a hi-end aftermarket radio
- Boston Acoustics (BA) SPZ6 front and rear component speakers
- BA GT42 4 channel amplifier
- BA GT28 mono amplifier
- Batcap second battery
- Genuine Alcantera and vinyl
- and much more

To come:
- 148 db Airhorn
- xenon lights
- Escort SRX
- Xbox 360 from front and rear screens
- possible 10.2" touchscreen with a car computer (fingers crossed)

Smells like spam to me. At least rack up a few posts before you attempt to spam!!!

I was looking for lowering springs and came across a post that had questions about custom sub box enclosures. Figured people would like to see some install. Let me know if I'm wrong. If not hope people who like audio system enjoy the pics.

I love it. Sweet install. Still affords a wee bit of cargo storage. Thanks for posting the pics.

I think it looks outstanding. Do you have a shop on Boston? I'm looking to replace my home made box with something that looks a little more professional.

Makes me wish I went sealed....But my ported setup is amazing...If you dont mind me asking What color Alcantara is that and where did you get it....Also, can you get it in width's over 54 iches?

I really want to finish my install but I want refuse to give up finding the wide Suede in the color I want....


Also What is the difference in sound of the SPZ's compared to the Z's....I have been running the Z's for many years.
I am skeptical to change over to the SPZ's because I dont Know if there is a difference that will be worth the high price.

I do like the smaller drivers but I do not like the lower power handling.....I have safely run 300 watts RMS to the Z's and to the older boston pro6.53's and 6.5's.....IMO the Z's are the best components out there. Well at least for my ears....

I do know that the spz'sare supposed to have better low end.....But I cannot imagine that since the Z's already drop to 40hz....I usually cross over at 65hz safely.

how does that sub sound..iv'e seen it many times but never got to hear it in person..
