I can comment on the '08's not having red calipers since I have one. :)

I honestly wouldn't want them. I would rather color match them to the truck.

I was hoping that it's a late add option - similar to Kicker system.

No red calipers here either. I kinda wish they would have been red. But I can live with them in black.

Yeah, since mine is steel blue I don't think red would look very good personally...
