I don't usually use the flashers, but I was showing someone the various controls, and while pointing out the flasher control button, I pushed it.
The flashers did not come on.
The button, however, fell into the hole in the steering column!
First thought - can this mess up the steering?
As it turned out, I was able to shake the plastic panel at the bottom of the dash, and hear some parts rattling, so I took out 2 screws at the bottom and was able to retrieve 2 plastic parts.
This experience in NO WAY makes me love my jeep any less!!
