Hi everyone! This is a video that was taken by a friend at the drags a few weeks ago. Enjoy. I think my favorite part is the laughter after they realized the GC was going to beat the GTO. There was laughter coming from my Jeep too...... I thought the GTO dude was going to cry! :cool:

The track is at approx. 3000 ft above sea level and runs.....uphill. Yes, uphill. Its an old air strip.

Do you happen to have time slips? Would like to see what the difference was at the end of the 1/4.

I had a friend of mine scanned the slips for me, but they are on my work system. I'll try and remember to down-load them to a thumb and post for ya. I will also try and post the video of the "boosted" Corrado - it was a fast little VW for sure. There are some German guys running some VW "Bugs" here that are WAY fast. They have another drag race weekend in August, so with any luck I'll post more video. There were plenty of Mustangs prowling around the drags last month that look like they could use a spanking! There are also some hell-for-fast Mustangs out there so I will have to chose my prey wisely--like 05 and 06 models...... :-)

Bone Stock. 4800 miles. LOTS (Daily)of time spent in the 130-155 MPH zone. I passed a German customs van on the way home from work at 157 MPH. Its amazing how the sight of the blue lights still makes you "pucker" till you realize that "Hey, its F*cking LEGAL here!" He got to watch me fly by and take the next corner at 130+.

OK OK! Most of the time I "fly" solo, and my spousal unit isn't really fond of 140+ (even though the truck is very stable). I was hauling ass in the G35 one day and remembered that I had the camera in the car so I snapped a pic at about 150, but I have to admit that I lost 8 MPH from the top speed in the process of driving at speed and taking the picture - the G35 is electronically limited to 156 MPH. I will be much more comfortable having a "photographer" for the Jeep. Multi-tasking is not something any of us need to be doing at triple-digit speeds! ;) If we get clear weather this weekend I'll just have to suffer through some high-speed runs down the bahn to keep you guys happy! Its a tough job damn it! :cool:

I live over in the Bitburg area. Had a blast golfing at Wiesbaden this weekend. I toasted one of the new Audi SUV's on the way home today! The guy thought he was such a bad ass that I just had to set the record straight for him. I let him have his lead till about 100 MPH and then it was bye-bye Audi. Punk.
