I instaled the RonConcept Headlight Covers on Wednesday. They look emazing, but I'm having trouble with the 3M tape sticking on the front in various spots.

On Friday Fed Ex brought me the Bwoody CAI, Strutbar, & Swaybar Links all powdercoated in Anthracite. My previous best recorded 0-60 with the Dashawk was 4.10 (don't remember the temp but it was probably 50s/60s) and the other night after the CAI install at the same location (70 F) I ran a 3.98. It'll probably be a week until the links are installed.

Had these for a little bit, but I don't think I posted pics before. SRT8 liquidome on the steering wheel and Hemi badge on the dash.

Yours do look sweet! I gotta be honest and say that originally I wasn't sure how I felt for the Red or the Blue. Definitely for a Black or a Silver one. We'll see as I've already done more than originally planned and a few people here have swayed my opinions already to the "other" side.

hey Zoo - I'm having the same problem with my covers' tape not wanting to stick in certain parts (especially the curve closer to the grille), doesn't change the way they look from far away, but I'd prefer the separation not be there. Anyone have tips to correct this??? (sorry for the hijack Zoo)

Steve

About an hour ago :) How'd you know? Just finished the install, and aside from a nice gash where my skin meets my thumbnail (didn't realize it was bad until I took off the rubber gloves), the install was everything it was advertised to be. I didn't follow the instructions (afterall, this is the 4th or 5th time I've changed the CAI on this jeep) and it was just super straightforward and fit great. Tighter fit than I thought for the filter inside that wheel well, but still easy.

Very pleased.

Ourzoo - that's one of the best looking GC yet! It's amazing how little subtle mods make such a huge difference - starting with headlight covers, rear spoilers and to debadging. Great work

I can't envision anything else for the exterior myself. Who knows, I might have to cave in and get some new "shoes" for her down the road.

Steve {SkipTracer} Just clean it a little more with alcohol, or you can buy the 3m tape from Lowes,HomeDepot,Walmart it really sticks a lot better. The 3m tape they give you from the aftermarket really sucks and cheap. Anything to keep the cost down for them.

You can get it from a dealer, but I've seen it on eBay before as well.

I was wondering one thing though??? I've seen these on a few Jeeps. I'm not sure what it is you are exactly buying?? I thought mayber the lightsw were being separated and that lower piece was being color coated. But from what I gather, you are attaching that piece. Let me know?? I'm quite curious.......

Thanks,

Thanks Kramsay! Moparnut, the Ron Concept headlight covers are one piece for each side. It covers the amber light (unless you want a cutout) and wraps around the front of the rig meeting up with the grille. Make sense?

Ride looks great, and the vanity plates clever.

But IMO I would keep it cleaner and not do the SRT badges on the fenders.

Dang was this thread revived lol!

Honestly I like it both ways; with em on the sides and without them at all anywhere and an SRT8 license plate frame.

I do appreciate the honesty though! It's all good.
