Well you are not the only one that has not seen one in AZ. Our local dealer has not seen one either.I am in Prescott and ordered a 07 a time ago because I lease. I have been assured by the out of town dealer I will have the car at the end of my lease

According to the Jeep sales stats, only 49 have been shipped to AZ as of June 30, 2006, so it's not surprising that you don't see them on the road. I spend part time in Scottsdale and part time in Florida. I went to Airpark Jeep in S'dale and they just laughed when I asked about SRT8 availability. So I waited and loe and behold, Chrysler came out with the EP program July 1 and I found one outside Atlanta, saved a little over 5K and had it shipped home. Well worth the wait. What a machine !!!

I've seen 2 besides mine. I was at Power Jeep this AM and was treated like a celebrity by the salesmen, as they had never even seen a silver one. They of course saw the silver SRT8 at the entrance to this year's Barrett-Jackson, but they only had 2 blacks and one red to sell all this year. After the Jeep dealer I went to the Maserati & Aston Martin dealer... they really liked the old SuperJeep. 1st one they'd seen driving around.

I got my silver SRT from Darner in Mesa back in March. I've been to Power Jeep and am not at all impressed with their service and the fact they have a $10,000 addendum on the black one I saw in the showroom. I told them I bought mine for sticker and that their mark up was just plain wrong. I had my Mopar CAI installed at Power and it's first oil change and they charged me for 8 quarts of the Mobil 1 which as I now know is one quart too many, Next time she's ready for a service I'll take that matter up with managment at the store. My SRT is using about a quart every 1,000 miles or so and I'm taking it back to them every 1,000 miles to have them add the oil and document the usage. The first time I stopped by to get it checked, the jackass service advisor told me to go inside and have a seat and he'd get to me in an hour or so becasue I didn't have an appointment even though I was the ONLY person on the drive. I went to the service manager's office and asked him if that was the way it was going to be and he apologized, checked the oil and threw in a quart.

Thanks for the link. If anyone here is interested

Are there any AZ owners out here?? Hope so. We are looking to make some parts for the SRT8 and dont want to use the dealer cars. Hopefully EXT-n wont this post since we vendor on several forums owned by them. Once we decide what to make we will become a vendor on here.

Thanks for your time. If you are located on Metro PHX please send us a PM.
