currently there is a tentative M&G over on the LX forum site that Mr. Mo (ffmoe2) is trying to organize for July 29th - I have talked to him about changing the date and local to the following.

Here is my proposition:
Go-Carting at K1 Speed in Carlsbad...
August 5th, 2006 - Saturday

sound a little more fun than standing around in a parking lot?

Thank you for taking time out of your schedule and expressing an interest in our facility. Here is a brief description of what we do.

Experience the thrill of wheel to wheel racing in high-performance Italian karts! K1Speed is the largest indoor karting facility on the West coast. Our facility is 75,000 sq.ft., with over 2000 feet of racing excitement! Our Italian karts are electric and fully computerized for optimal safety with more horsepower and torque than a gas kart (without the smell of fumes). The track is professionally designed with an asphalt surface to maintain the same feeling and performance as an outdoor track. Individual Pricing:

$5 Annual Racing License (mandatory for all drivers unless you are doing a group race reservation)
$20 Arrive & Drive (14 laps)

The following are our most popular group race packages ( reservations are available for groups of 8 or more):

Mini Grand Prix:
14 lap qualifying
16 lap final (grid start in poll position from the qualifying round)
$45 per person
1st - 3rd Place medals included

Grand Prix:
12 lap practice
14 lap qualifying
16 lap final grid start in poll position from the qualifying round)
$60 per person
1st -3rd Place trophies included

Le Mans Endurance Race:
12 lap practice
14 lap qualifying
14 lap qualifying
16 lap final grid start (in poll position determined by the average time of the two qualifying rounds)
$80 per person 1st -3rd Place trophies included

hey everyone,
we are doing the mini-grandprix at 12pm...
the M&G is at 11am...
we can if some want split into two groups...
(we'll have to anyways)
16 people - 12 spots on the grid...
and we can have 8 do the mini and the other 8 do the grand prix...
