Greetings fellow SRT owners. I am from the UK, and Jeep have only just started sending RHD (right hand drive) SRT8s to the UK. I get mine beginning of August. The dealers say only 50 will be imported this year, other sources have mentioned 200. Even so, that is an incredibly small number of cars so I consider myself lucky to get on. Also, fuel is VERY expensive in the UK. It costs £1 per litre (make that $1.75 per litre, and there are about 3.77 litres per US gallon). So that is $6.60 per US gallon!!!!
Bearing in mind the UK gallon is larger than the US one, the urban mpg is around 13mpg, and the highway is 21.5mpg. Combined is 17-18mpg. Either way, I don't care, fab super-4x4 and the $6000 I will spend in fuel over the next 12 months will be worth it :-).
I think I am the first UK member so look forward to reading all the tips and tricks from the brothers over in the US.
I'll post a review when I get the car and have tested it.
Regards
Quadman

You can even get a discount on an SRT8.
Check out ONESWOOP in the UK.
Buyacar also had them on last week, at an even better discount, but that has now gone.

Congrats quadrilogy you'll LOVE it. Your GC SRT8 will be quite an exotic in GB, almost like one of us getting a Lambo 12cyl 4x4 back in the day. Drive on.:D

Hi Quadman,
I`ve had my U.K. supplied SRT8 for two weeks now, covered 1600 miles , averaged 16.2 miles per gallon, and still can`t shift the grin every time I drive it.
Still taking it easy, running her in, but even so it`s very quick on the "A" and "B" roads, eats up the miles more effectivley, and is far more comfortable than my TVR ever was !!
Where abouts in the UK are you? ( I think Mart is in Scotland ?)
