:confused: i now have a Cadillac escalade with a pretty big sound system and i ordered the gc srt8 with out gps cuz i already have it on my alpine screen but last week i took a look at the the overall space in an srt8 that my sound shop was working on and realized there might be a problem first fitting my 3 amps brain for the screen and gps module ipod adapter plus the trunk doesnt look big enough to fit my two 12" subs and still have reasonable space i looked into jl hidden subs but nothing for srt8 gc yet

also wondering if any one has changed the original radio if so have you had error codes related to the original radio not being hooked up this happened to me in my cadillac escalade i had to wire the original radio to the trunk to keep some options functioning corectly

You should have no problems installing any aftermarket radio in the GC. Any respectable audio shop will know what/how to bypass/replace the Boston Acoustics sound system.
