: Maybe I'm crazy but I think the ride is fine

I see quite a few complaints about the harshness caused by the runflats that have been installed from the factory.

I've had my Jeep for just about a month now and I think the ride is fine even with the screwed up roads in Korea.

Maybe it is because my other ride is a Lightning. My SRT feels like a luxury sedan compared to that thing.

I will definitely be staying with the runflats regardless because being in a foreign country, the last thing I want is to be stranded because of a flat tire. They (and I) wouldn't even know what to do out here.

Well, I am glad to hear that...I have been a little annoyed that I thought I was going to have to change the rubber out right away. I am sure I won't even be able to tell if it is a bad ride until I HAVE to change out the tires.

Ignorance is bliss :D

I would have to agree. I don't see a problem with the ride what so ever. I didn't buy it to ride like a grandpa car. I wanted to feel the road and I think they handle pretty well. I noticed the factory sticker states to inflate to 34 psi. This may be why some of you are experiencing "cupping" on the outer edges. Max press on the tire is 44. I run mine at 39. I have 8k on mine and they look brand new. Of course I have not pulled any fuses either.. :D

I am sticking with them till they prove me wrong. This is the longest lasting set of Goodyears I have owned thus far. Maybe they have gotten better over the years.

I have no issues with the ride either.

I also think the ride is okay...definitely not too harsh IMO for the performance. I use it as a daily driver and think the ride holds up pretty well even on the Goodyear runflats.

IMHO, it's not the hursh ride, but tire hopping on uneven surfaces (expansion joints), especially when braking. I'm running 35-36. Places where I could brake hard before, no more- ABS kicks in, trucks rear is all over the road, it's so much hopping... I spoke to the tech who drives SRT8 and has experience in racing. He says he runs rear tires at 28 psi, to reduce hopping

I ususally run at 35 in the front, 36 in the rear. I have had no issues as well as the fact that the ride isn't bad. I actually like it. I won't be changing them out unless they prove me wrong.
