I just put 275/40/20 and the 315/35/20 Toyo Proxy ST's on the Jeep last week and so far I really enjoy the ride difference. There is no noticable difference in the shape of the tires except the Proxy's look much more aggressive. Only a hundred miles but all seems well thus far.

After researching tires to find an alternative to the Michelin Diamaris (Very good tire but I was looking for M+S with a higher tread wear) I came across the Toyo Proxes S/T's. All 20 inch tires in the 315/35/20 & 275/40/20 are almost the exact same diameter and will work with the all wheel drive system without causing any problems. There are other sizes that will work but they hinder the performance of the jeep which I choose to stay away from because I do alot of drag racing. I have had my tires now for 2 months and 2500 miles with well over a 100 drag races and they perform flawlessly. I recently got the BWoody sway links and now the tires and the truck really stick, feels like your on rails when cornering. A definite mod to do with new tires or the stockers, nice job BWoody.

I ran toyo's on my Escalade (22's) and never had an issue. I know that doesn't compare to the SRT8, however, I got over 45,000 miles out of them and they rode great. I will not, however, get rid of the runflats unless I go for aftermarket wheels for this one. The ride doesn't bother me at all.
