I currently have an 07 Jeep SRT-8 and was just toying with the idea of buying a RAM SRT-10 and putting some money into it as a drag car (nothing too serious). However, I never drove one and have no experience with them. I love the practality of the Jeep and an not at all anxious to sell it, just looking at options. I know a lot of you own both, so please tell me the likes/dislikes as well as how they match up on the strip and street and as daily drivers.

Just dont buy the quad cab, you will be upset on how slow they are for whats under the hood. A good driver can run a stock reg cab srt10 just as fast as a stock srt8 jeep, they have tons of top end and is usually the traction that kills them off the line with a good set of slicks and practice they are deadly trucks at the track
if you wouldn't do anything serious to the SRT10 (twin turbo) you'll be better off with the jeep
its obviously going to be way easier to drive (and imo more entertaining on the street because of this), has more utility (awd, 5 seats, can tow), and get better gas mileage (though i suppose the difference between 8mpg and 11 isnt so great lol). the grand can be modded too, especially once tuning hits the streets. there are several people on the board who have gone from SRT10 to SRT8 but not a one that im aware of that has done the opposite.
All I know is a V10 with no @ss end equals lots of burning rubber....
I actually was looking into the SRT10 truck, until I heard about the jeep. Now I just need to wait...for mine to arrive.

I have a 06 red rock RC srt 10 got it in texas last year for a great price
Got the srt drive school with it and after had to buy the jeep. Ordered a new 08 from Don @ Champion (great price)
intend to use the jeep as a daily and will mod but keeping the srt 10 as a collector, an amazing truck, buy both if you can swing it

We have both and I would pick the Jeep because you can drive it in the winter. The RC is a blast to drive but the Jeep is much more practical.

as he said, the jeep is much more practical, but if you're looking for a toy, the 6 speed RC is a blast. I would get the 05 or later to get the deeper gears. once you change the exhaust and put a cai in (some doubt if there is any performance improvement if the engine is stock), it is like a muscle car of old, ie, very loud and a blast to drive.
