That is what Palella said too... I am sure that once you pick it up, you won't want to spend time taking photos for us, you will want to be driving it...

I'm not much of a photographer. What other pics are you looking for? Not much else has changed.....
Just a lot of photos...far away, close up
...multiple interior shots from all sorts of angles...
Hids on and off...fogs on and off...
creative shots
shots with hot chicks next to it...
Just anything to make the wait a little more bearable. :D

m3_il 08-06-2007, 10:13 PM im ordering xenons borla type-s bwoody intake and sway bar links and blacking it out
Hemi@last 08-06-2007, 10:16 PM Sounds great. The Borla S has a great sound.
Consider the 180 degree thermostat mod also -- low cost and helps with heat soak
m3_il 08-06-2007, 10:22 PM ya ive read alot about it but have no idea what it is where to get it etc
m3_il 08-07-2007, 10:50 PM ok i finally got some pics but i used my girls cam and i dont have the cord to connect it to my comp. so pics will be up tomm

TGLICK 08-08-2007, 12:08 AM what is included in option group 1? Do you have HIDs on your truck?
gpfarrell 08-08-2007, 07:26 AM Great pics.
I'm real happy with your shots of the improved interior... although I was fine with the original interior as well. I'd rather have the light gray, but no biggie.
Can't wait until mine gets delivered!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
What a nice think to wake up to!!!
Oh, you forgot the hot chicks next to the car :D
Blown-WK 08-08-2007, 07:37 AM Hmm looks nice. Just throwing this out there but it appears to me that the headlights are the same as the 06-07 with the only difference being that the bumper cover now covers the two half moons on the bottom of the headlight. What I am saying is it looks like if the bumper cover was removed the headlights are still straight across on the bottom but are given that curved looked from the bumper cover over them.
squigmang 08-08-2007, 07:41 AM looks good! I like the 07 steering wheel better and i like how the 07's have the cruise on the steering wheel instead of that little paddle.
echo412 08-08-2007, 07:46 AM the upholstery is plush ... but as squigmang said i like the old steering wheel better.
barho 08-08-2007, 08:00 AM I see the EVIC and odometer display is now white instead of green. That looks good.

I see it differently. It looks to me like the headlight assembly is NOT straight across on the bottom, but curved on the exterior lens, thus following the rounded lines of each 'light'. If this is the case, it also appears that the scalloped 'new' bumper design actually sits/fits UNDER the lens of the headlight assembly, thus creating a flush vertical fitment in the front.
Then again, this is all just my opinion . . . I could be wrong . .
Prjct86Man 08-08-2007, 08:20 AM anyone know if the ride is any better in the 08?

But, it does appear if the headlights are not HIDs, then the full circle is still the inside high beem with the outside lights crescent shaped, like the 06-07s
Interesting.
Blown-WK 08-08-2007, 09:02 AM Oh yeah that pic shows a better angle. It definitely looks like the headlight itself is rounded on the bottom. Oh well!
JeepSRT 08-08-2007, 05:47 PM Looks good, Nice dash and Nav but I still like the '06 '07 steering wheel better though. What's with taking Jeep off of the shifter, looks plain, and I thought the '08 was supposed to have heated and cooled cup holder's??
Does it?

I am also disappointed that they "giveth" but "take awayeth". Some blatant cheapening that was unnecessary. The steering wheel logo, the cheap-looking EVIC switches, the plain shift knob and the srt seat logos all bear signs that the bean counters were very busy this year. And I bet we'll soon run across more examples of their "efforts".

Hate the steering wheel, like the emergency brake handle though.

DJ Red Barron 08-09-2007, 08:34 AM So I wonder if the 07 steering wheel center emblem thing can be put over the 08 wheel center...

I completely agree. The EVIC controls are God awful!!!!

I remembered seeing an overlay for the 06/07 models before. I had planned on ordering one. But I don't know if the overlay will work as well since the emblem itself is now different (by different, I mean gone) on the steering wheel. But if the area where the emblem goes on the 06/07 wheel is the same circumference on the 08 wheel, then I will just stick an 06/07 emblem on the 08 wheel center.

I agree, the emblem is WAY better looking on the 06-07. I would buy one if it fits the 08 hole...

The steering wheel would have to be replaced, and you would lose your EVIC controls

The 2008 interior is so much better than the 2007.

Looks like I’m getting by 2008 Red Rock on Saturday. I can’t wait to go pick it up. I bought it through Don with Champion and had it shipped to Orlando, well worth the wait.
The only pictures I have are with my phone for now.

I meant that I would buy a emblem...and put it over the "jeep"...that is if the old emblem would fit in the new "cutout".
sbkim 08-10-2007, 06:04 PM Congrats - is it me or the 2008 front end looks more slanted / aerodynamic than the previous years?

I think your right, it definately looks slanted back more, not as aggressive to me, but I like the headlights.
