it wasnt a great kill but still decent...a better story though...so i was cruisin in the jeep on friday night minding my own business (and kinda looking for a race:rolleyes: haha) when i saw a set of headlight weaving through traffic and comin up on my pretty fast...i didnt mind much of it till i got up to a red light and the headlights pulled up right beside me at the most busy light in the city(pleny of spectators)...naturally i had the windows down and bumpin the system and leanin to the side haha...i glanced over and saw some *** with a friend of his in an eclipse gsx (awd turbo for those who dont know) im guessing it was modded because not too many people own gsx's and dont mod them...anyway i look over and pipes it a lil and grins at me and i just laugh at him...he then looked at his friend and piped it real hard...i turned down the music and and just said i used to wanna buy an eclipse till i got this..and he laughed and said an suv?? they are no fun it looks good though and i just laughed...i turned the music back up and waited on the light for green...as soon as it hit i took off and got up to about 75 and then let off (cant get another ticket)!!! haha he was so far behind me thats all i can say i am not a great judge at carlegnths but it was an amazing feeling...we got up to the next light i just looked over at him and the look on his face was priceless...well actually whatever your jeep cost you haha..

oh by the way he was only a *** cause of his dissrespect of the jeep..made me kinda mad but he got what was comin to him..oh and at the next light he just turned right after i piped it a lil haha

I don't get why more people don't know about this Jeep. I didn't know anything about it a year ago.

Everyone knows about Cobra's and STI, both low number "speciality cars". I would think that everyone would be talking this thing up, and want one.

Who knows. I am sure going to love getting 7 mpg!

I respect them. With the AWD, they can get a pretty decent launch given the right mods.

Oh, and he drove a GS-T, not a GS-X. A few times in the movie they show the front wheels walking left and right from torque steer.

true i did notice that and i knew it was a gs-t...i meant body style and the body kit plus color and mods...not that it was a gsx...trust me i know my eclipses...i worshipped those cars until i got this jeep..

you're lucky, pretty much everyone in my city aside from ricers and is300s (why waste the gas?) knows about my jeep

a few weeks ago I even had a guy in an Evo MR with his girl rev at me, watch me goose it from one light without going himself, and then instead of pulling up next to me at the next light so we could run he just ran the red :eek:

haha yea...thats funny...well i live in a relativley small city only about 60k people...i have only seen one other srt8 around...but i dono if it commutes here or not either way its some lady who drives it...i raced my friends modded evo from about a 20 mph roll and we were neck and neck untill about 100 then he started pullin on me...i dono what he has in it i havent asked him yet cause he just got it...traded in his srt4 stg3 450hp...but after we raced he told me he didnt want any from a dig...said he didnt know if his clutch could handle it...

I live in a location where there are about 600K people (including all of the small surrounding towns) and I have only seen 3 of these jeeps. Only one on the road, the other two were on the lots (and continue to sit on the dealer lots).

Every one I tell has no idea what I am talking about. They don't believe me that the jeep has the power I tell them.

Oh, well. It will be all the sweeter when I have it. 11 more days!!!!

Good kill. Good story. But tell me that you still dont like Paul Walker's eclipse. When the movie first came out, it was OK, now its horribly overdone and ricey. I am going to make a wild guess, but i am going to say you are probably a 20 year old.

i completely agree about the horribly overdone..the first one was pretty questionable too...i think i still like ecplipses...only gs-t's and gsx's though...but i was pretty young when i first saw that movie and it always stuck i guess...oh well i love my jeep thats all i can say...

still a worthy kill and well done on the slow down past 75. In Toronto you get caught racing from a light and you are hauled right to jail basically. Been a few really serious accidents causing deaths to 3rd parties.

Not that I don't like the kill stories though - just good to be careful.
