SJG3RD 08-03-2007, 08:54 PM How are you wrapping the items? Are you using spray adhesive to keep it down? Some process pics would be nice to see what all goes into wrapping the interior items.
Everything looks great by the way, very nice job!!!
Definitely a mod I will be looking into.

Laid Back 08-23-2007, 11:52 PM I'm trying to get an idea of how much suede I might be using and therefore need to order. I was curious as to how much you had used and what all you have covered.

Well Im not a pro, but I can tell you some tips and pointers.....
1. DO NOT USE 3M spray adhesive....Use Landau top adhesive or adhesive specifically designed for this purpose. If you use 3m, it will let go with the heat.
2. Take your time....dont hesitate to set aside good time to do it correctly.
3. Use a harbor freight 1.8nozzle spray gun for this. It works great for the adhesive.
4. start in the middle and work your way out...
5 spray both surfaces and let them sit for like 5 minutes to setup.
You might want to practice on a couple pieces first...start with something flat then work your way to a curved piece. Remember that suede doesnt really stretch all that much....the backing can be removed but it still doesnt stretch like vinyl.
A steamer can help you stretch but be careful
Hope this helps.
Laid Back 08-24-2007, 11:37 AM Is any of the suede in the pics Euro, Highland, Hampton perf or even perforated at all? I'm not sure on which I need to order in order to have the came results as in the pics. Sorry if this is a stupid question I just want to get this right the 1st time.

Just so that you know...I found a place that can get the exact same suede that is on the seats......on the downside, it it very expensive....like over $100 a yard expensive...I think it was like $139 a yard......Just FYI...

I finally found this that shows the different styles. I've never noticed the tiny holes in the fabric when looking at other members pics of their interior. Are they all like this? Are the holes very noticable? Here's the link http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/yourautotrim-store_1963_88013376
