I dont know why I did not notice this before, but my 06 does not have them. Was this an option? I thought it was standard. Thought I should ask the group, before I went back and B**ch slapped the dealer.

unless you got the stripper srt8 with no options, you should have gotten the pedals. Mine came in a brown box.

I didn't, but it may make it easier. It was rather difficult to get it over the stock brake pedal pad.

Well -- I went back to CarMax and they had to order them. Dont know what they did with the originals, but anyway. No problems with the dealer, they agreed they should have been provided.

You mean take off the pad first right? It took me about 15 minutes to get the brake pad on, I put the top on first and then just stretched the bottom over it. Tore up my fingers but worth it.

No. I stretched mine over the factory pad.

Correction. Temporary brain fade. I did remove the stock brake pad first. It was the gas pedal cover that snapped over the existing pedal.

If you did not get them from the delivering dealer, I'd have them install them for you. It can't take long, as when our car was delivered, the prep time was about 30 min.

If you need to do it yourself, I suggest that you get some water really hot (like from an instant hot, or water just short of boiling). Soak the pads in there for a bit and the rubber will get a lot more pliable. I did this with my Mustang and it worked perfect.

Mine were already installed when I picked it up (they gave me the empty box). However, after about a month the brake pedal cover came off and out fell a 2" long broken-off tip of a screw driver that they must have been using as a pry bar to get it on. When I saw that I realized I wasn't going to even try to put it back so I saved it until I went back for my first oil change and had them put it back on.

Try a little WD40 on the rubber, It will slide right on. If you don't have that, try plain dish washing soap than clean it with some spray brake clean.......

When I picked up my rig, the aluminim pedals were in a box in the back and not installed. The service folks put them on for me in less than 5 min.
