: Aftermarket Brakes Still an Issue?

I have searched heavily on the forum for the answer to this question.... can't find a direct answer.

There are dozens of threads about the rear brakes/front brakes, and the associated TSB.

Has anyone replaced the front/rear setup with the aftermarket drilled and slotted rotors and STILL had the recurring issue?

Is the flaw in the brembos with the calipers themselves or is it with the pads/rotors?

I would like to replace all 4 corners with aftermarket rotors and pads but if they're going to wear-out and squeal like the stock setup then why bother.

its the pads mostly, they're really tough on the rotors and groove them out. rule of thumb is if you're going to replace rotors get aftermarket pads.

Get Satisfied and Discitalia rotors. Done.

What is the good source for the Satisfied Pads and Discitialia rotors... I have only about 1,000 miles on my '07. Should I just swap the pads and save the $$ on the rotors. or wait till the stock stuff wears out?

Thanks
Bob

Bob Bob,
I changed mine out at 2,000 miles just to save the rotors.
I bought the pads from GSM, rotors from www.brakeworld.com (http://www.brakeworld.com)
